I purchased items that I needed returned. I approached the greeter upon arriving and was given a return sticker. I choose to go shopping before returning my items in case all they could offer was credit as I didnt have the debit card I had paid with. I went through the checkout and purchased one item with a walmar t gift card. This was an item for my daughter who was paying with her own funds (gift card). I then realized I didn't have my receipt for the items I needed to return. Because the items were over a certain amount I knew I needed the receipt. I approached the same greeter I had seen when entering the store. It took me a minute to gain her attention. I then asked her to watch my cart so I could go get the receipt from my house. She asked where the recipt was for the items in the cart. O told her at home and some I still have to buy with the money I'm getting back from my returns. She clearly was not I derstabding what I was saying. She wanted to take my cart. I went to customer service and clarified I needed a receipt to return the largest item. They agreed. She then blocked me from exiting. I told her I had items in the cart Thatcher mine and I didn't want then touching the cart. I told her I would bring the receipt back. I left the store. Parked the cart inside the cart area and told my daughter to wait with it until I could go home and get the receipt. When I passed her a lady claiming to be in charge of store security had taken the cart demanding to see the receipt. I said I don't have it...I'm going to get it. She asked me what cashier I went to. I told her I didn't know the woman's name and asking me a question like that was unfair. I told her I would be back but not to take my items. She told me she was taking them and that I was not have them. My daughter began showing signs of distress and asked what was going on. I told my daughter to get in the car but before I had a chance to tell my daughter not to listen to the woman she said "your mother stole all of this and made you help her" I was stunned and left because I was terrified of what else she might say to my daughter. Wal-Mart now has items I have bought and paid for and refused to return.
