I returned a mattress to the store as directed by Wal-mart.com The personnel at customer service failed to inquire about the method I wanted the return refunded. I explained that I have recently closed the checking account therefore I will need the refund to go to a Walmart gift card. Personnel advised the money will go directly to the card?? (Closed) The assistant manager showed up and told me the same thing. The manger made no attempt to call customer service about voiding the transaction, instead I was told to contact my bank!?! I do NOT understand how or when inconveniencing a customer became a part of customer service. Instead of taking ownership, we just throw it in the lap of pthe customer to take care of it?!? **The store if took the mattress back was ST******* OP******** TE**** TR******
