I returned a mattress to the store as directed by Wal-mart.com The personnel at customer service failed to inquire about the method I wanted the return refunded. I explained that I have recently closed the checking account therefore I will need the refund to go to a Walmart gift card. Personnel advised the money will go directly to the card?? (Closed) The ***istant manager showed up and told me the same thing. The manger made no attempt to call customer service about voiding the transaction, instead I was told to contact my bank!?! I do NOT understand how or when inconveniencing a customer became a part of customer service. Instead of taking owner****p, we just throw it in the lap of pthe customer to take care of it?!? **The store if took the mattress back was ST******* OP******** TE**** TR******
I trust that WalMart will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
