I ordered groceries from WalMart. I gladly would shop myself but am terminally ill w*out funds to hire help. I was happy to finally find delivery in my rural area. So far, with one, under a *** bucks order, I have been trying to be heard. I do want a refund but more importantly, I wish to be heard because when a company learns of a REAL issue, they should gladly listen so they may source out... ... I am copying and pasting this letter. I have sent three letters with no respone. Please, do not disregard this letter, please, this is my third attempt to be heard and actually do expect a response. Surely I hate writing this but it seems so absurd and unlikely that I think in fact you surely need to know. *I got my last order of mostly food items this past Sunday. When I opened the box, I found a mess that I cannot imagine how it could have happened, the outside of the box appeared fine but inside, something went awry. The biggest problem was a bottle of Kaboom which had the top actually broken off, the sprayer top removed so of course the entire bottle soaked all items. The green curry was smashed and open and contaminated. The Ramen noodles were partially crushed and some of the packing broken. One of the aerosol cheese cans had the top popped off and some of the contents were squirted about. The bottled water was fine but had to be washed thoroughly, the cans all unharmed except the labels soaked and I washed and removed what was left. The peanut butter, no breakage but cleaner got up under the lids to the cardboard inner seal and hence, I chose not to keep, I could see it was not OK. I had ordered a mustache beard color treatment and this I do not understand, the box was there, very crushed, inside no two tubes of color ingredient, also no plastic tray, no instructions, no gloves, but there was the little applicator brush. I assumed the two tubes were in the rubble of stuff and sifted through it three times. I say it could only have been that the tubes were never in there to start, someone must have taken them, packed the box and let it be. There is no way it could have fallen out of the large sealed box it came it and no way could I have overlooked it. Ultimately this box really looked inside like something may have dropped in there before it was sealed and sent? I have no idea but this package looked great on the outside and I do have a witness, it was also in a nice plastic bag outside in case of rain and the big plastic inside is what kept the Kaboom from leaking out. Actually when I first opened the box there was a nice wad of brown packing paper and oddly enough, it was the only dry thing in the container. I still cannot even imagine how this could have happened, but there was surely some problem at some point and me, I only guess in the warehouse and do not say it to be mean but how could that much damage be inside with an intact box outside and then there is the missing two tubes which really throws a curve ball on the package. A mystery it is and I can offer no sound theory, all I can say is that it got here looking good but truly a shocker as soon as I opened it.*I am not writing this solely to get a refund, I believe someone really needs to know if this has an explanation. I am not being greedy here, but I think a refund is in order if not at least a prorated refund. ( The Queso Cheese Dips were also unbroken as was the caulk). Please help me out here, I need not aggravate but this kind of thing makes neither party proud or happy. I was angry mostly because of getting ditched on the phone by some woman on Monday, then I wrote two letters and got no answer. The biggest thing I know that makes a problem a lasting problem is to ignore it, sure I could blow this off but were I in management I would be digging a bit to try for an explanation because the entire thing looks to me like someone knew about the contents before they nicely sealed it up. *Sorry if I am annoying, it is not my intent. Please give me some kind of response, I believe this needs some resolution.**Respectfully, *Jeno Koch**Jeno Koch******@***.com**** NE ***th Street*Old Town, FL ******(***) ***-**** (mobile)
WHAT THEY DO REALIZE! by ignoring a customer issue, by delaying response, or giving no response at all, given time....the issue will disappear. The customer tires of endless effort to retrieve a loss and simply walks away. How much revenue does Walmart save by ignoring claims, by creating a complaint gauntlet that discourages any average person? What they do not realize is that not everyone does give up. I am not simply requesting a refund, I was trying to help Walmart. They need to know, so they can, I would hope, endeavor to figure out the cause and fix it. By ignoring me, they have created a far larger problem with rudeness by ignoring my simple communications.
I wish they could remove the horrible and useless feeling one endures when they wish to reasonably communicate and are basically treated like they do not exist! As previously stated, my order in entirety is below *** bucks, but with my terminal illness and a fixed income, that is a lot. I want a refund and now that I have spent valuable time trying to communicate via letter, being hung up on when I first called, I want more. I want some satisfaction that they understand even the little people matter.
All I can say is that I called first and was rudely hung up on because I immediately got the runaround and requested a supervisor. I then wrote three times and was replied to once that even though this man was the grocery delivery supervisor, he had no access to accounts. Blah blah blah, I can go on but what is the use. I truly hate taking my VALUABLE time to bring this issue to a satisfactory completion.
