i was trying to get them to listen to the fact of the matter without a negative biased opinion, and see that the card i was given was in fact the wrong card. ... so I went to purchase a new straight talk phone service plan at store ****** in Yakima, WA . there were two cards stuck together. I did not know this till she gave me the total so I knew it was too high so i asked why is it that much? she told me there were three phone cards. soI said Im sorry I only need * straight talk card so she voided * off . but she gave me back the wrong card that was not activated. i went home and scratched the pin, and proceded to refill my service. the straight talk operator said you are using an invalid card. ...so the next morning i went back to walmart with the wrong card and my reciept to fix this. i was treated with such a lack of respect or even common decency. there were two different Assistant managers that pretty much told me i was lying. they were very rude in demeanor, and some what humiliating towards me with thier attitudes. i am a very loyal customer and i surely understand that there is a lot of theft and dishonest people out there. but everyone deserves a chance to be at least heard. they were unwilling to even comprehend my issue. i know prepaid phone cards are non refundable. however i did not want a refund, in fact i stated that. i said i just wanted the service plan that i paid $** for to just be scanned onto the card i was given wrongfully. these two ladies didnt even look at my proof which was the wrong card and my reciept. they automatically started their little comments that were belittling and degrading to me in front of everybody that was around the area. they said with an attitude of rude snottiness your not getting another card. and your not getting a refund we checked the video and she gave you the right card. so i had to get on the defensive angle and raise my voice to get them to shut up long enough to say NO she did not give me the right card look at the upc codes they dont match with the activated card and the one I have. they were unwilling to even look at my reciept. they said i was lying and just trying to get something for free. i was very insulted and quite disgusted. so i hear the second Assistant manager say theres nothing were gonna do here you need to call straight talk and try your scheme with them. and that further elevated my anger. ther*y treated me like a piece of **** dirtbag thief. and i am a person who does not approve of this automatic profiling of a person. they were so ******* absurd and set in their frame of mind that they were blinded to the proof of factual evidence that i had. that I truly want some disciplinary action taken against them. at the very least they need to be laid off for a class in common decency and customer service etiquette. because they have no right to treat anyone the way they treated me. and im not going to let this go. i intend to see it through to the very end.and if i have to i will file a law suit.
is that because of thier automatic assumption that i was trying to pull some kind of scam, that i actually had the real proof and evidence to prove my story. and it was their mistake. i was humuliated and belittled and made to look like a thief in front of all the other customers around that area.
I would like a formal apology from both of those assistant managers and the customer service counter lady who started incident. i strongly feel that the need to have disciplinary actions taken against them. i do not wish for them to fired because we all need our jobs, but they need to learn that they cant act that way or be that way in a customer service industry job. there must be consequences for thier rude behavior. it is simply unacceptable. this is not good business i paid for a product and was not honored with it . so i feel compensation should be above and beyond the level of humuliation and defamation of character that i publicly suffered due to their uncaring and inept treatment of a paying customer. dont forget you have my hard earned money and im still assed out.
ive been a shopper at walmart since the first one came to yakima. and i expected to be able to atleast be heard and given a chance to show what happened and get it fixed.
so far writing this complaint . and as soon as i get their names i am going to expose them to the public about this whole situation. and now i cant even wait for your robot call to speak with a rep. because my phone still doesnt work and i paid $** bucks.
