My fiance and I bought a queen size mattress in a box memory foam serenity dream mattress. We called and spoke to the manager who identified himself as James. he stated that the Walmart return policy for a debit receipt was as long as the receipts EDD debit tend and pin verified it was treated the same as cash are receipt said such things he purchased the product less than ** hours ago the box is unopened product unused The returned it's Walmart just to be met with issues sarcastic employees and managers who refused to do the refund. Didn't even offer store credit. We have the receipt the mattress in a box was checked in by the door greeter and the man who claimed to be the store manager said that it was okay hours prior again they still continue to refuse and when I said that I was recording this entire conversation the cases out of the store on my way walking out the store the door greeter on the other side stopped me grabs my cart yanked my car back in and called loss prevention making sure that I didn't steal it I had the receipt the door greeter from the other side came down and explain the situation as well as a cashier from customer service yet she wanted to stand there and hold my property Ransom until I went outside walk across the parking lot and brought my fiance back inside cuz she was the one who pushed it in.my accounts are frozen her your policy as long as all receipt says that attend it is to be treated as cash. are debit card has been stolen our accounts are frozen yet the amount for the mattress which was $** and change has already been drafted and deducted from my checking account. store credit is not an option for me I don't live close enough North shop at Walmart nearly enough to use store credit the money was drafted from my account in the project not used and I really want my money back. we are really irritated and I was humiliated in front of other customers being treated like some kind of thief pushing my property out of the door with my receipt with a person in a yellow vest none the less. Tell me how Walmart can get away with treating people in such ways because it happens all the time. Thank you.
