This is concerning the pharmacy drive thru at the Elizabethtown Rd. Lumberton, NC location. My name is Beverly McLean and I am a regular customer with a disability that I need a pharmacy with a drive thru. The problem is that the drive thru has a sign in the window that it is out of order about * out of ** times that I go. I have MS and some days that’s not a problem, I can walk in and drop off or pick up my meds. Then there are the days that I can’t walk more than ten feet at all. I have brought this to the attention of the store managers on several occasions, but it seems to continue to be a problem. I have personally watched elderly customers pull up to the window only to have to go find a parking space, which is another issue, and go in most often with the use of a walker or other form of assistance. It seems that it really isn’t high on the list of concerns for this location. I really would like to know that Wal-mart cares about all their customers especially the ones that have physical issues and need a little extra service. Is there anyone that can explain why this hasn’t been taken care of and if and when it will be. Do I need to take my business elsewhere and pass this information on to other customers? You do have a pharmacist there that is awesome. Her name is Leisha Walters and her customer service skills are top notch. She truly cares about her customers and their needs. She goes above and beyond and makes sure you get the very best service even when short staffed. With that being said I wait to hear from you about this situation soon. * Beverly McLean
