Get a $**** money order, machine was broken so they voided it. Days later I still don't have my refund ... On Monday I went to your Locust Grove location and purchased a Money Order for $**** with my debit card. Apparently the machine wasn't working, so during the same transaction the money order was voided. The associate had no idea how to operate the money order machine, and called someone on the phone. She still couldn't get it to work, and then said that maybe hitting reset worked. She then asked me to swipe my card again for $****. I asked her if she was ***% certain it would work, as I couldn't keep swiping my card for $****. The associate then rudely stated if I didn't have $**** to swipe my card, then maybe I should go to Food Lion. I work retail. I get it. It's frustrating, however I was not rude in the slightest to the associate. For her to say something in such a degrading manner is ridiculous. She also debated with me that the amount was already back into my account. Clearly the associate is unaware how voided items work. It is not immediate. She would not let me have the receipt, so I had to take a picture of it. Which I have and can provide. **This is the important part. It's now Saturday the *th and I -still- don't have the $**** refunded to my account. I reached out to my bank and they don't see any return pending. I am concerned this was supposed to be refunded as cash or another way. I called and spoke with the Front End manager Monday afternoon and explained what happened. They assured me it should be refunded within * to * days. I am currently closing on a house and need to explain where this $**** went, and when it will return. It is day * and still nothing. My bank still doesn't seen any sort of pending return. Please help. I need to know when my $**** will be returned. Thank you for your time & assistance. I would like to note I ended up going to the Central Park Walmart to get the $**** money order, they were lovely and very helpful. I wish all your associates could follow their direction.
Voids are immediate. * days later and there's no sign of a return, my bank verified there's nothing pending!
I just want my return of $****.
Shopped at walmart all my life. Happened upon the locust grove location after a work meeting. I work retail so I'm always as polite as can be. I need that $**** for my closing costs on my first home, so I am understandably anxious.
Called and spoke with front end manager Monday. Was just to wait a few days. Days later I can't get in touch with manager, and submited feedback on site. Wal-Mart auto sent me a message back saying "did you know walmart offers moneygrams?" It was an automated message based on key words with nothing mentioned of my complaint. I was so pissed!
