Product - Walmart Money Card*I have had a Walmart Money Card for over a year and my account has always been in good standing and a recipient of direct deposit. I recently noticed a transaction for $*** bucks taken from Microsoft and I did not (at first) make sense as to why it occurred. I called the Money Card and spoke with a Representative, who told me that if I filed a dispute for the transaction, my card would be on hold and I could not use it. I (forcefully) cut-her sentence short and vocally insisted that NO dispute be made because I relied on my bi-weekly direct deposit to feed my family and pay bills. The rep. acknowledged my sense of urgency and said "don't worry, I understand, we will not allow this to take place." Satisfied I concluded the call and went on my merry way. After waiting a long two weeks for my last check, and ensuring my landlord I will have the rest of rent Tuesday* I was devastated once I seen the post went through and my account APP show the available balance of the money* but I was unable to get money from it. After waiting on hold for an hour, I was able to speak with someone. The representative informed me that my account was closed due my Account number being compromised. They said the only course of action would be a refund check that I can expect to receive in *-* weeks. Obviously, I was furious and wasted the entire day yesterday, (no-lie, the entire day) on placed on hold and being hung-up on by the representative's, and their "Supervisors". They tell me that even though the money is there, because the account is closed, I cannot get access. Because of the unbelievably unprofessional and rude results I have received from the card's customer service (the * on back of card) which is the only source I have for resolution - nothing is being done about the fact that Walmart and Green-Dot have stolen my money, deprived my child of food and possibly shelter, and put me in the position that I had to pawn my cell phone to get-bye.**I can live with the losses I've obtained and the stress I've endured over the last two days - I would love to find someone that I can speak with that could possibly find away to get my money to me in a suitable time, since this whole event was the fault of their customer service representatives. It would be an added delight if some type of reprimand was given to all the telephone reps on duty yesterday (since I am willing to bet my available balance that I spoken to (and was rejected by) everyone of them, especially the Supervisor.
