I have until today given very regular sustained business to Waitrose Ringwood but my experience today is making me reconsider that practice. I regularly travel to the store on my bicycle and have a travel mug with a lid which I often use to have a coffee whilst shopping. Today because there was a splash of mud on the lid one of the partners decoded she would hassle me. So I asked to see a manager to give them the option to rectify the matter appropriately. Emma Groves arrived and after speaking to the partner came over to proffer the argument she had been given. On top of that she decided it was appropriate to point out that I like all the other customers I had taken the top off my coffee cup whilst sitting at the table. When I pointed out the fact that ALL the customers had taken the caps off their cups she persisted in saying that I should replace my lid whilst everyone else could carry on as before. I'm uncomfortable about her discriminatory actions, I'm confident in respectable supermarkets this would be addressed. **I'm unsure about how to move forward with this but it is questionable whether the partners at Waitrose Ringwood are suitably adept at customer relations. This could have a detrimental affect for the John Lewis shopping in the future. **Kind regards **Paul Skidmore
