In August I was charged for a call which Vodafone said was of several hours duration. My phone line was also cut off and I had to pay £** to re-instate the line. I talked to a number of people through customer service telling them that specific call was only * minutes long, a fact I was later able to prove. Not having any satisfaction from those calls I went eventually to the local Vodafone shop in Exeter. A girl who helped me there contacted the team and showed them the evidence i.e. that it was a brief call and the monstrous charge therefore was invalid. They agreed and she informed me by email, a copy of which I have. In that email she states, and I quote** 'they are putting the £**.** credit onto your next bill so you won't be charged for the next few months with the money that has been credited. I have also asked them (that's the live chat team) about the extra £**** that was also outstanding on your account and again they advised me that the amount will be credited onto your account so you will not have the hefty bill that is shown on your account'**My bank statement for August shows that Vodafone took £***.** from my account.*Is this correct? And will I now have no charges until this sum is redeemed?*Please enlighten me.
