I called the Customer Service phone number for the Virginia DMV three times between the times of **:** am and **:** am today, Monday, and each time the only response I received was an immediate written response, as in not even a machine reading it to me, that said the person I was trying to call was busy, and left absolutely no option other than for me to just hang up. I waited a little bit more time then, because of a hopeful maybe it would work if I gave it a little bit more time, and an actual voice answered. It was a recorded machine voice, sure, but an actual voice. It told me that all *** people answering the phones were already answering calls from people who called before me. I wouldn't have minded just waiting on the phone until it was my turn like I have with other companies, but again, the only option the machine gave me was to hang up and call again. When would be a good time to call? Since there was nothing on their website about what times were busiest for them, I found the gethuman website that said that the best time to call them was a weekday at the time of **:**. That was obviously complete bull based on my calling experience today. BTW, I blame them for that, not you. I do not know the reason for their absolutely horrible answering services, nor do I know a way around it, other than to just keep calling and calling and calling at different times of the day to see if I might finally be answered by an actual human. *If you all could give me a different better time to call them, or whatever that might help, that would be great. Although I understand if you can't because they seemed to be overall so messed up that nothing will be able to be done.
