I started with Virgin Mobile when it was first created. The only reason I left was I wanted a smartphone. I spoke to a Virgin Mobile customer service representative and he said that if I knew how to use a computer I would know how to use a smartphone. Fortunately, I realized this was not the case. I decided to switch to MetroPCS because there is a MetroPCS store near where I live. The first three months I had their service I was down there at least three times a week to be educated on my Android smartphone.*The reason why I am telling you this is to make you aware that I was a long time Virgin Mobile customer in the past. I have fallen on bad times and now have an Obama phone through Assurance Wireless. I had a reason to directly call Virgin Mobile regarding phone selections. I have found that phones through Assurance Wireless have been sadly inadequate. The customer service representative at Virgin Mobile, once he found out I was an Assurance Wireless customer, was rude and gave me the bum's rush. If you do not understand what the bum's rush means it is when a person treats you as if you are a nobody and not worthy of their time or energy. I would be delighted to see your growth if it included the kind of customer service I received when I was a Virgin Mobile user. Given the treatment I received I'm wondering why you even have Assurance Wireless. When I saw that Assurance Wireless was part of Virgin Mobile, I thought it must be good. Now I question that. I hope this was just aberrant behavior on a customer service representative's part. Thank you for your time in replying to me, Peggyann Wood *P.S. I want an apology from Customer service for how I was treated. I also want reassurance that something is being done so this will not happen in the future.
