incoming calls while outside of the EU. ... Hello *My telephone no is ************I have an account with you and I'm out of the EU at present, *There seem to be a problem with my UK phone as its not receiving incoming calls. so yesterday I called the help line *************, which appears on your welcome to Israel sms message, with the understanding that as it says, it costs the same as a standard call to a UK landline or Mobile form wherever you are. and I reiterate it says from wherever you are. *The first assistant was unable to help while we are on the call, as I couldn't reset the phone while talking with her. However, she said she has reset the account and that it should work. *The reset did not work, so I called again from another line and still no success with the second assistant. And then I got sms saying *"you've nearly reached your credit limit. to avoid losing your service make a payment by calling *** from your mobile in the UK or ************* from abroad." Needless to say there was no service. **So today, I called from another line to enquire about the sms re reaching, I was perplexed, how could I have reached my limit? I used the UK line for incoming calls only while abroad! *I was horrified to find that its those 'help' calls from yesterday....*The wording of the sms is grossly misleading, and I kindly request that you wave this sum of ** pounds charge for call for help! *Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation*kind regards, Yael Azulay
It was still not fixed on both occasions when I called for help

I'm loyal to virgin mobile as I feel I can trust their service, always had a good service experience except for now while abroad and, which is most frustrating, not to mention the misrepresented hefty cost involved in calling for help
