I purchased * tickets for an event on * November ** (booking ref. ********) costing A$*** each. My bank statement subsequently showed that I was debited a total of $***.**, which I assume means the booking fee was $***. When I printed the tickets they showed a cost of $**.** each, so they are obviously inferior quality seats. This means that if I chose to accept the tickets (total cost $*** plus legal booking fee) I would be well over $*** out of pocket. However if I needed to be sure that I had been ripped off, I only had to look at the purchaser name on the tickets (Andrew Grocev, confirmation number ***-***** * AUS.
