I was able to contact Verizon, but the situation is still unresolved. Three different people told me it can't be done.

want to return to paper bills***Until June I only received paper bills. In June, in response to an unrelated issue, the fact that the name on the account was not mine, but my late husband's, led Verizon to close out my account and give me a new account number. Apparently new accounts are not eligible for paper billing. Despite the fact that I have been paying the bills for the last twenty years, I'm no longer considered an old customer, therefore,*I'm no longer "grandfathered in" and I can't get a paper bill. (My best guess is that Verizon doesn't want to pay postage.) Apparently they sent the July bill via e-mail and it went into either Spam or Trash, but it*never showed up in my inbox, so my payment was late, which bothered me. That's basically why I want*to return to paper billing. I spoke to a representative, who said it couldn't be done. I asked for his supervisor, who repeated that there was nothing they could do. Any suggestions for my next step?
