Help with my Verizon Wireless issue

I washed my phone, the only other phone I have is a lan line **********. I Bought a new phone and I need to activate it and switch my number ***-***-**** to the new phone, but every time I try to log into my Verizon with the password saved in my computer it locks me out after one attempt and when I try and reset my password it will only text it to a phone I can't currently receive texts on. I tried to use the online hat but it won't let me speak to an agent unless I log in which I can't do for some reason. Admittedly it's been at least * years since I've logged in but why would i log in if everything is working fine. I just need to log in or have the option to have any password reset info sent to my email (*****@***.com) not my broken phone.
