My iPhone X had water damage and I called Verizon to explore my options. I was told by Verizon to put insurance on it and make a claim ** days later. I was skeptical, since the insurance was put on after the fact, but the salesperson told me not to worry, to go ahead and get the insurance and I could get a new phone in ** days with a deductible of $***. I waited ** days and made a claim, and now they tell me I can’t because my iPhone doesn’t turn on and the insurance company can tell when the SIM cards were switched out. They committed insurance fraud and now they want me to pay the consequences. I want to speak to a manager.
