I am new to Verizon and haven’t even ported my number yet because I am awaiting the iPhone I ordered through Verizon a couple of days ago. It was supposed to arrive today but UPS did not deliver it because I was not home to sign for it (I was at work). UPS also doesn’t give me the option to change the delivery day (they will automatically try tomorrow, but I will be at work again). I need to talk to a Verizon rep to see either if I can pick up the phone at a UPS store after work or if they will allow me to pick up another phone at a Verizon wireless location. I am unable to call VZ customer service directly because whenever I call the ***-*** number, it assumes I am calling to port my telephone number, but I just want to talk to a live rep to get this settled.
