Take photos. ... I am having issues with my Google Pixel phone (andriod version *.*.*). The phone number is ***-***-****. It is currently on my company plan and they suggested I call to see what my options are. The back camera is blurry, in particular at longer distances (not as much with close up photos). I've tried a bunch of experiments to make sure that it truly is the back camera. The most damning was a comparison of the same photo taken with the front camera versus the back camera. The back camera photo is noticeably blurry, even though the back camera is a higher resolution (and should be a better photo).
If there are any suggestions you have that I haven't tried, I'd be willing to give it a shot (besides maybe the factory reset again). I'm also hoping you can tell me if my phone is still under warranty. They also told me I wasn't eligible for an upgrade until ********. Is that correct? I originally got the phone in November ****. Any insight on how this problem can be resolved would be greatly appreciated.
I have looked on a bunch of forums and tried everything that they suggested (which one of them stated was everything that Verizon tech support suggested as well) including, but not limited to: making sure the app is up to date, verifying the resolution settings and other camera settings were appropriate and set to highest resolution, tried photos without the case to verify that it wasn't interfering with the focus, cleaning laser focus holes and lens, covering the various focus holes, force closing the camera app, trying a third party camera app, clearing the cache and data, opening in safe more to see if another app was causing the issue, and I even went so far as to factory reset my device. I'm sure I forgot something. None of these troubleshooting steps has helped with the issue and the forums suggested that after these steps failed, the only thing to do is replace the phone.
