I am considering switching my cell service to Verizon prepaid. I do already have an existing iPhone I want to bring over that I got directly from Apple that is unlocked, and your online site suggests it should be good to go. I also have an existing phone number from my current provider I want to transfer over, but I would need to get a sim card to use, since my existing one is with them and would have to get switched out. I would've submitted the order online, but I really don't want to end up in a situation where the number transfers over before the new Sim gets to me, as I do depend on Lyft or Uber to get to and from work, especially for the next few days, and being without service could be a disaster. How does that part of things work? Does the transfer complete most of the time with the sim still in transit, or does something on your end detect when I insert the new Sim to trigger that to take place once I actually have posession of it? I thought of the idea of ordering it with a new number and then transferring once that is going to avoid the temporary complete loss of service and then transferring over at that point, but is that likely necessary?*Thanks*Brent
