The issue in GetHuman-hhsamcox's own words
We have land-line phone and internet service only, by choice, for over two years since August **** because the homeowner (over ** at the time) could not memorize her new number. We asked for her former number and I was forced to be on her account since she was in chapter ** bankruptcy when the request was made. We were told she needed a digital voice(?) line to have the option to convert the lineline to wireless when her circumstances changed. Since then, verizon has raised the charges on those two services while offering newcomers three services for less money. Seniors in their dotage on fixed incomes should not be forced to deal with situations of such manufactured complexity. Please create a wireless account with the number ***-***-****, and at the least cost to her, so she will have some level of safety if she gets disoriented while away from the home or adult day care facilities she attends. When she gets the stand alone wireless service with the ***-***-**** number I would be interested in obtaining internet only service. At the very least, the charges should be immediately reduced so she is not paying more for less service.

GetHuman-hhsamcox did not yet indicate what Verizon Land Line should do to make this right.
