Help with my Verizon Billing issue

Called to make a payment and before I could say “NO” to use the card on file it automatically done it meanwhile I said “NO, NO, NO NOOO!” I need the amount that my card on file was charged reversed and and put back onto my card and into my bank and I will pay for my bill in the form of a check like I initially planned. Mind you the call was recorded so they can go back and listen to if they would like. But I just need the charges refunded to my card on file and I will pay with a check like I initially planned.
