Hello. I am having trouble accessing my account due to an outdated phone number. After receiving emails about a password change I did not initiate, I updated my password today. However, I am still unable to log in. I prefer to delete and close my Venmo account as I no longer use it and have security concerns. I would appreciate assistance with logging in or closing the account. Thank you.

I am frustrated with this process. I would like to speak to a real person instead of going back and forth with messages. I was directed to a live person for $1, but I do not have my credit card on me to proceed. I tried to message back, but it only prompts me to fill out credit card information. This is unacceptable. When I called, I was met with a recording that did not assist me. This is the second time this has happened, and last time it took weeks to resolve. I'm having trouble accessing the money sent to my Venmo account. My email is [redacted], but Venmo was set up with [redacted] Confusion arose because Gmail doesn't recognize periods. Although I received emails to accept money, when I tried to input my phone number for the code, it stated my phone was already linked and prompted me to sign in. However, once logged in, the transactions from my family members are not visible.

I need some guidance on a payment issue I encountered. Recently, I sent a Venmo transfer to my sister-in-law's email address before she had an account. Although she does have a PayPal account, she didn't have a Venmo account at the time, but still received a payment notification. Upon accepting the payment, she was directed to create a Venmo account. However, after setting up the account, the payment did not go through or appear in her account. Four days ago, I reached out regarding my locked account due to an alleged debt to Venmo. Despite providing bank statements proving successful transactions, Venmo claims they had to cover some costs. My bank records confirm that all transactions were funded without any problems from my account. Venmo has deducted $50 from my $50 balance and is requesting an additional $[redacted]. Urgent resolution is needed as my banking history indicates no transaction issues, placing the responsibility on Venmo to rectify this matter promptly.

I opened an account about 2 months ago, but I have never been able to access the money loaded onto it. The account got locked automatically before I could use it. I can't transfer the money to my Cash App or use it for my business because I can't verify my identity. I want to add my husband to the account for verification. I need the account unfrozen so I can use the money for its intended purpose. It's frustrating that I didn't need identification to start the account, but now I need it to unfreeze it. Please assist me in resolving this issue.

Venmo has been withholding my Veterans' direct deposit funds for over three months. I have ceased the direct deposit since then. I provided all necessary information when I opened the account, so it is unfair to accuse me of unauthorized activity. The situation is illegal and reflects poorly on Venmo's operations and customer service. They are holding the last of my Veterans' money, and I have not breached any of their policies. I demand the release of my remaining VA balance of $14.99 immediately and for the account to be closed. Every penny is crucial income nowadays, and Venmo's security measures are lacking. Once I have my money, I expect the account to be closed, and all my personal information permanently removed from their system. There is no excuse for this behavior. This ordeal has shown me to steer clear of companies like Venmo. Please refund my money promptly as I may need to take legal action soon.

On January 30th, I placed an order for 2 pairs of earrings for $33.15 on Poshmark. Upon receiving them, I was disappointed as they did not match the listing's pictures, and the quality was poor. Despite reaching out to Poshmark immediately, the company released the funds to the seller, even though I only had a 3-day window to make a complaint. The seller suggested fixing the earrings myself with an iron, which is unacceptable for a gift like Feather earrings. I believe I deserve a refund as the product did not meet my expectations. The seller's resolution of repurchasing the earrings at a discounted price is unsatisfactory. I request to dispute these charges and seek assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help.

I have never used Venmo before, and I am concerned how this transaction occurred under my initials and last four digits of my phone number. It seems like someone might have used my personal information to create an account. I tried to pay my phone bill using Venmo on February 7th, with a pending payment of $[redacted] still showing. As a result, I had to pay $[redacted] to restore my service using my bank card. Venmo deducted the payment from my balance, and I need the money refunded today. I want to transfer it to my bank account and close my Venmo account. I have used Venmo for my business for a long time, but I am very disappointed with this situation. If I don't receive a refund promptly, I will escalate this matter further. I believe Venmo should reimburse me for the $70 reconnection fee since I wouldn't have had to pay it if my initial payment had worked.

I had a bad experience with an art dealer named Rachel Gantz. She showed me an original painting and I purchased it through Venmo ($rachelg). She then pretended to put it in a protective case, only to switch it with a blank canvas. I tried contacting her to no avail. I want my $[redacted] refunded, as this is fraud. I am experiencing an issue with my Venmo payment. The app shows a 'Payment Declined. Try again later' message when I tried to use a newly added credit card. I verified with the credit card company that all payment details were correct, and there are no issues on their end. As suggested, I reached out to Venmo's customer service, but their automated phone system is not recognizing my input to speak with a representative. It seems like there might be some difficulty in resolving this problem as I am unable to get through to a person at Venmo.

Hello, I am reaching out for assistance regarding a situation where my client accidentally paid for a product twice, resulting in an overpayment of $39.05 on January 12th. I promptly refunded one of the payments, but my client claims she never received the refund. The transaction reflects as refunded on my end. My account is under the name "skintight face and body." Recently, my cash app card and phone were left in a friend's car and returned a few days later. Unbeknownst to me, my phone got hacked during this time. Someone took my purse, used my phone, and made purchases using my cash app card to search for people I had just added money to. The individuals behind this used $30 from my account which was unnecessary as I had enough funds to cover the charge. I received a notification from the cash app team stating they covered the $30, even though it wasn't required. Subsequently, another notification informed me that my account was frozen due to a fraudulent attempt to use my Venmo for the same unauthorized purchase. I closed my Cash app account after they didn't reimburse the money. Despite canceling my card and reporting it stolen due to the purse incident, I am puzzled by the charges from the Cash app team. I was filing my taxes using TurboTax when a pop-up from Credit Karma appeared, offering a $[redacted] bonus if I chose to have my taxes sent to their bank. I agreed, but never received the bonus and my tax refund took 4 weeks to arrive. When the money finally reached my account, every transaction was denied, with Credit Karma debiting money that I didn't authorize. Now, I have two outstanding debits totaling $[redacted].80, and Credit Karma says I have to wait 15 days to get it back. My account is now negative, and they are holding onto $1,[redacted] of my tax refund. I'm frustrated and angry as I need my money immediately and have been facing difficulties. If I don't see my money by the end of the day, I will seek legal advice. Credit Karma's promises of assistance have been unhelpful so far, and their customer service is not responsive to my concerns.

I am currently facing an issue with an unauthorized payment that has not been resolved despite speaking to multiple representatives. Since March 8th, charges labeled as "account recovery" have been continuously deducted from my Venmo balance, leading to a negative balance. These deductions are confirmed to be withdrawn from my linked bank account as usual. Research indicates that other users have encountered similar issues without any prior notice. Losing close to $[redacted] in just four days is highly unusual and distressing. I request a full refund for these unexpected charges and a detailed explanation for their occurrence. This situation is extremely inconvenient, as my funds are needed elsewhere and not for these mysterious fees. Such actions by Venmo risk alienating customers, given the availability of alternative services. A financial platform should never deduct funds without clear communication, making it challenging to reclaim what rightfully belongs to me.

My partner and I have shared an account and are now starting a business. We have been using Venmo for years and recently got approved for credit. The card was working fine, but suddenly stopped without reason and now shows the account suspended. We are upset about the suspension, especially after trying to open a business account as proud members of the LGBTQ+ community. We hope this is just an error, as I have a law degree and my partner is a police officer.

I've been attempting to make a payment via Venmo to an individual, but the transactions keep getting declined due to alleged insufficient funds, despite having enough in my checking account. I've contacted my bank twice, and they have no record of the transaction. Venmo's email support has been unhelpful in providing a 15-digit ACH number to verify fund requests. In frustration, I also tried using a credit card, but that was declined as well. I'm at a loss on how to proceed and have not been able to speak to a real person for assistance.
