Hello Venmo, I am currently on hold on your phone system. I made a Venmo payment to Beth Aragon on 4-12, and as of 4-17, she still had not received it. I have been in contact with your representatives, but the issue remains unresolved. I want to permanently suspend the payment and have the $[redacted] returned to my Chase Checking account. I have contacted Chase Bank regarding this matter. The claim number is [redacted][redacted]. I understand your policy, but I need this matter resolved promptly. Please contact me, preferably by phone. Thank you, Mark

Hello, I'm Mohan Pillay. In September [redacted], as the Treasurer, I set up an account for the Arlington Courthouse Square Home Owners Association. I want to transfer the account responsibilities to the new Treasurer. I need to remove my personal phone number, [redacted], and my email address, [redacted], before sharing the Venmo user ID and password. I plan to create a separate Venmo account with my phone number and email. Should the new Treasurer create a new Venmo account for ongoing use? Please reach out to me at [redacted], [redacted], or [redacted] Thank you in advance for your prompt assistance. Best regards, Mohan Pillay

Hello, I am feeling very frustrated with my experience using your Venmo app. I encountered an issue while trying to connect my bank account during the account setup process. The screen disappeared, and now I'm unable to get it back to complete the setup. I attempted to restart by deleting the app and re-downloading it, but it didn't guide me through the bank account connection process again. I'm stuck in the middle of creating my account and feeling like maybe I should've trusted my initial instinct not to create one. I'd appreciate it if you could either reset my account setup so I can begin anew or provide guidance on how to add my bank account details. Without the ability to link my bank account, having an account is pointless for me. I tried calling for assistance without success, and the email support seems to be non-responsive as well. Thank you, Eileen

I previously had an account associated with an old email address, [redacted] After deleting the account from my phone, I'm now unable to receive access codes due to the outdated email information. My phone number, [redacted], is also not working correctly. I'd like to update my email to [redacted] while keeping the same phone number. I'm trying to retrieve a payment from my son, Trey Traub, who can be reached at [redacted]. We're both struggling to find a solution to this issue. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Last month, on April 17th, I received $50 for my birthday through Venmo. Unfortunately, I couldn't access my account as my old phone number ([redacted]) linked to it is now used by someone else. Venmo support asked for government ID to verify my identity, but I don't have one. The account was initially set up by my mother before I turned 18, so I didn't have my own ID back then. I turned 18 this past April and am ready to provide ID, but due to current circumstances, it's challenging to visit the DMV. I'm looking for alternative ways to prove my ownership of the account to access the birthday funds. I can provide any necessary details like billing addresses and bank information if it helps facilitate the process. I'm reaching out to PayPal for assistance, given their association with Venmo. Thank you.

I am having trouble with my Venmo account's money transactions due to an issue with my home address. I have had this address for 12 years. I was advised to update my address and add $70 to my Venmo account, which I've already done. I also verified my bank number as instructed. Despite this, my account is currently frozen. Alison M. sent me an email saying that once I put the $70 back into my account, she would unfreeze it. Thank you for assisting me with this matter.

As a new user, I need help with two issues. Firstly, I sent $50 to Javote Francis as a surprise graduation gift. He is graduating this year from Oakland Tech High. I used the phone number [redacted]. However, Javote informed me that he never received a notification about the Venmo payment. The second problem involves a $50 payment to Kuniko Randles, who is graduating from Skyline High. I suspect that I misspelled her email address. I intended to send it to [redacted] but may have missed the "i" in Kuniko's email. Could you assist me in resolving these issues by cancelling and retracting both payments? Thank you.

I am very upset that $[redacted].00 was removed from my account without my permission. I don't recall signing up for your service and I am surprised and angry about this unauthorized transaction. Due to the pandemic, I am unable to contact you by phone, but I initially signed up for PayPal to make safe online purchases. I need the $[redacted].00 returned to my bank account as soon as possible. I have no interest in your company and am unaware of where the money was transferred. My name is Susan Santos, and I can be reached at [redacted]. I am a retired woman on SSI with limited funds, and I need that money to pay my bills. Kindly contact me promptly to resolve this issue before I escalate it further.

Hello, I'm Amanda. I am currently facing an issue with Venmo. My account got frozen and they asked for a picture of my license to reactivate it. Instead, they permanently deactivated it without any explanation, even after I politely asked many times. I now have $[redacted] in the account that I can't transfer. I have sent several emails to them but have been completely ignored. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue. I have heard that they can hold my money for 6 months, which seems strange and possibly illegal. This $[redacted] is not just extra money, it is for rent. Money is tight, and this amount is crucial and should not be held for no reason. I really hope for help to solve the problems I am facing. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I received $[redacted] from my father last month. I find Venmo's customer service to be extremely slow, and when I tried to reset my password, it took hours or even days to receive the email link. I haven't used the app since I downloaded it years ago. Because I now use Cash App, my father mistakenly sent the money to my Venmo account. I informed him that it's not the account I use and requested the money to be returned. An associate informed me that I needed to authorize the refund and assured me my account would be closed to prevent future issues. Unfortunately, the $[redacted] has not been returned to my father, and my account is now closed. This needs to be resolved urgently as promised by multiple customer service representatives who guaranteed the refund in 4-7 business days. I am frustrated with the situation.

I attempted to make three payments to my new landlord today. Unfortunately, she claims to have not received the payment twice, and the third attempt was declined. Each transfer was for $3,[redacted], but I was unaware of any account limits. I now realize she could potentially receive an overpayment of $7,[redacted]. I am concerned about the situation and urgently seek assistance in determining the payment status. If the payments were not successful, I would like to cancel them and provide a check in person to ensure the correct amount is received. Additionally, there seems to be a second iPhone associated with my account being used in Utah, whereas I am based in California. I believe this may be a mistake. Thank you for addressing these issues promptly.

Over the weekend, I discovered unauthorized transactions on my Venmo account. While I was asleep, someone accessed my account and made three charges to my checking account totaling $[redacted]. These transactions were made to Chris's Skate Shop and a sporting goods store simultaneously. I have only used Venmo to pay my rent to Brendan Connolly for nearly a year, so these commercial purchases were not made by me. The transactions are still pending, and I need assistance in stopping them and disputing the charges. I have been unable to reach anyone for help over the weekend and would appreciate a prompt response. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you. - John H.

On Friday night, someone hacked into my Venmo account and made three unauthorized transactions totaling $[redacted], which was deducted from my checking account. I am unfamiliar with the company and need to reach out to Venmo to investigate further. The transactions were made to Chris's Skate Shop, a place I have no knowledge of or authorization to pay. My checking account and Venmo account have been frozen due to these pending charges. Despite my attempts to contact Venmo through email, text, live chat, and phone calls, I have not received a response yet. I am eager to resolve this situation and identify the individuals responsible for these unauthorized payments.

I accidentally signed out of my Venmo account while trying to resolve a payment issue. Since I got a new phone and phone number registered on my account, I'm unable to access my account as I'm not receiving the access code on my new number. I've emailed your support team multiple times over the past four days without any resolution. I urgently need access to my account as my friend sent me $50 on Friday, and it has been deducted from her account but not showing in mine. Despite one response from a representative, I'm still unable to log in, and this situation is becoming very frustrating for me. Kindly assist me with this matter within the next 24 hours as I rely on using Venmo frequently.

I recently discovered unauthorized activity on my Venmo account. I did not authorize the transaction, and I was not contacted to verify approval. The individual used my card and emptied my account. When I inquired, Venmo mentioned privacy regulations prevent them from disclosing details about the recipient of the funds. I suspect there may be an internal scam at play where someone is manipulating the system.

I have been in communication with Venmo for five days now without a solution. It turns out I had two accounts - one I actively use and another I was unaware of. Someone sent me money to the inactive account, and I couldn't access it. Following their advice, I closed my active account to access the one with the money, but I still can't log in. I provided the requested information, but now I am not receiving any updates. To enter the unfamiliar account, I needed to answer two questions: my old phone number, which I no longer have, and my bank account, which is causing confusion. Despite trying all three linked accounts from my bank, none seem to be recognized. I spent three hours on hold yesterday and have had numerous unsuccessful conversations over the past four days.

I received a deposit from my client. I tried to log in to accept the payment but couldn't. I thought I might have forgotten my password, so I changed it with confirmation. However, no matter what I do, every time I try to sign in, I get a "Something went wrong" message. Despite multiple password reset links sent by representatives, I still can't access my account. I appreciate any assistance with this issue.

A group of friends sent $80 each to my Venmo account on May 28 for a total of $[redacted]. I had to change my debit card due to fraudulent activity, which caused the funds not to appear in my Venmo account. Despite providing all the necessary information to Venmo, I have received no resolution after many attempts. I'm desperate to retrieve this money and would appreciate a timely response. I have already submitted my bank details as requested multiple times, so I kindly ask for assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you for your help.

My Venmo account has been frozen for approximately 3 weeks now. I submitted my driver's license and additional documents, even took a photo holding my license. Shortly after, I received an email stating my account was being deactivated with the possibility of funds being held for up to [redacted] days. I had $[redacted] in the account with no explanation for the freeze. It's been a struggle, and despite my multiple attempts to seek help, no resolution has been found. I was transferring money to my sister via Zelle, and she linked her Venmo card to receive the funds. This was her first Venmo transaction, and the moment money was added to her account, both our accounts were frozen, including another $[redacted] of mine. I desperately need access to my funds as a single mom with two young children. The situation is incredibly tough, and I'm hopeful that there is a solution out there. Thank you.
