To recover your account, use your email address to reset your password but be sure you have the spelling correct. The best thing you can do is try to reset the password by clicking "Forgot Password" under the login then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.

Trying to access my account and the only way I could change my password was to use my phone number, however when I sign in it wants to use my email to send me a code to verify. my email has changed and it will not allow me to update my email or make any changes or sign in. I also tried to create a new account because I could not determine how to close the current account and again it would not allow it because it’s found that my phone number was already in your system? Now what? My old email (listed with Venmo) is *****@***.com
