On January **** I purchased round trip plain tickets to travel with my wife and * kids from Miami -Madrid- Budapest and return from Milan back to Miami (Booking * VUS-*******).The final destination was Oradea Romania * hours drive from Budapest.*The fight from Miami to Madrid was delayed * hour and ** minutes and after going through customs and running through the airport with my family to catch our connecting flight from Madrid to Budapest, the gate closed in front of us and we were not allowed to board the plain. My wife fell while running and my daughter could not stop crying . Staff members from American Airline and Iberia customer service desk were putting blame on each other and refused to take any responsibilities. After approximately one hour of consistent denying any responsibility American Airlines gave us another flight to fly the next day from Madrid to Vienna. We spent one night in Madrid and had to arrange to be picked up from Vienna to Oradea Romania. The drive from Vienna to Oradea was an additional * hours longer. When we got to Vienna our luggages were lost. We left Vienna without our luggages and completed an incident report with Vienna Airport. Four day later our luggages were delivered to Oradea airport where we picked them up. **The day of returning back to Miami from Milan we were all nervous and fearful from past experience we had in Madrid, my daughter and my son were experiencing stomach pain from fear of loosing the plain again. At the Milan airport we went to Finnair checking desk and asked the staff member if we were in the correct line and confirm the flight to Miami. The staff member confirmed that we were in the correct line. The line was very long and a lot of people were waiting to check-in .Half an hour into waiting in line I went to priority line and asked the staff member if they were going to be able to complete the check-in on time . The staff reassured me that everyone was flying to Miami and I should not worry . After waiting in line over one hour we mad it to the check-in desk and gave the passports to the staff member. The staff member said that we were in the wrong line and had to go to American Airline check- in area. We ran to the other side of the airport and the check-in desk closed ** minutes before the flight time and we were not allowed to check-in. We were all devastated could not believe this was happening again . My entire family was crying and the staff members from American Airline refused to help. The staff member told us that we had to call Finnair customer service and get the names of the staff members from Finnair who gave us wrong information . We went to Finnair check-in desk and to aske for their names and the staff members refused to give their names and placed their badge in their pocket. I had to call from a payphone in the airport to speak with Finnair customer service who refused to arrange for a different flight to Miami and told me that I was no show and I have to purchase new plain tickets. Finally, I spent an extra night in Milan and had to purchase hotel room one way return to Miami tickets which I payed approximately $**** with my credit card.
