Hello, I hope all is well with you. I am experiencing some difficulty with my Vanilla Debit Visa card. I initially purchased the card with a value of $[redacted]. I have utilized $[redacted] of the funds successfully, yet when I attempted to make another transaction, the card was declined. I would greatly appreciate assistance in resolving this issue. Hello, I recently purchased a £25 Visa prepaid card and was surprised to discover a £2 service charge after the 7th month from the purchase date, which is 08/21. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing issues using the card at different locations and stores without success. Upon checking the balance today, I noticed there is only £7 left on a card that cost me £28. Needless to say, I am disappointed with this situation. I have been attempting to find a way to contact customer services regarding this matter, but I have only found one number that is not based in the UK and would involve additional costs to call. On 1/24/19, I made a payment of approximately $[redacted] to a company. However, when I checked my vanilla card balance, I saw the same charge repeated three times. After contacting the company, they assured me they released around $[redacted] back to my card. Unfortunately, I never received the credit, and instead, I've been charged the same amount multiple times. On 3/7/19, I was charged $[redacted] twice, and on 3/11/19, I was charged $[redacted] twice again. Despite the promises, there has been no credit applied to my account. Now, I have six additional charges totaling over $[redacted] when there should have only been one charge in January for around $[redacted]. I urgently need to understand what happened to my money and why I'm being repeatedly charged without receiving any refunds. Yesterday, I bought a $[redacted] vanilla visa gift card. However, when I tried to check the balance on the website tonight, I received an error message stating that the card had been blocked for fraud reasons. I am upset because I purchased this card specifically to give as a gift to my ill grandmother for her upcoming birthday in two days. I need this issue resolved urgently as I have a deadline to give this gift. If the matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it with a formal complaint to the appropriate channels for further assistance. Last week, Mr. Fine and I spoke with a customer service representative from My Vanilla regarding an old card issued in Mr. Fine's name that was stolen. While the rep was able to provide transaction information, she could not locate the $[redacted].00 initial deposit or the 16-digit card number. Despite being promised an email with the missing information, it was never received. Mr. Fine is in the process of disputing the charges with the provided forms. Today, when contacting customer service again, the new representative was unable to locate any details about the previous card. We are hoping to speak with the rep from last week who had access to the necessary information about the initial card. The current rep explained that due to the closed account, she couldn't share past emails. We are specifically seeking details from the original card to assist with the dispute process, as Mr. Fine now has two new but inactive cards. If the initial card information shared with us last week can be retrieved, it would greatly aid in resolving the dispute.

I purchased a vanilla Visa gift card as a gift for my husband back in March. On May 31st, I confirmed the balance to be $[redacted].11, only to realize the card had expired in May [redacted], less than 3 months from when I activated it. I didn't notice the expiration date at the time of purchase, and I'm surprised a card would expire so soon. I understand from the cardholder agreement that the card becomes invalid after its expiration date but the funds can be moved to a replacement card. Federal law states that gift cards should not expire sooner than 5 years from activation. I've been trying to reach customer service to discuss getting a replacement card without any luck. My husband attempted to transfer the funds to PayPal, Yahoo wallet, and pay a bill on May 31st, but none of these transactions worked due to the card being considered expired. All I want is to have a conversation with a representative, as I find it unreasonable for a gift card to expire in such a short period.

I purchased a Vanilla Prepaid Visa with a $[redacted] balance yesterday. I used the card for a transaction on eBay after purchasing it, which worked well. However, now the card has $[redacted] left, and when I try to use it on eBay again, the payment does not go through or is refunded shortly after. Este comportamiento es una clara violación de los derechos del consumidor y de la información que ustedes deben proporcionar. I bought a vanilla card at Walmart with $[redacted] on it and now only have $70 left. This company is a scam; that $[redacted] was for my rent, and now I'm unable to pay. I'm a mother of five and I feel completely robbed. I can't believe they sell this product. It doesn't function like a prepaid card should. It's unfair for them to keep 2% of my money and to also hold funds from a declined transaction. I hope they go out of business soon. It's not right to scam hard-working people. I have to wait 8 days to access my money, and after reading reviews, I doubt I'll ever get it back. If someone can shut this operation down, I fully support it. People trust companies with their money, and I want a full refund.

During my stay at Quality Inn in Brunswick, Ohio from July 17 to July 20, [redacted], I encountered an issue upon check-in where I was unexpectedly asked to pay the entire amount upfront, unlike my previous visits. This occurred when I made reservations through Choise Privileges, seemingly dealing directly with the hotel. Without warning, my card was charged the full amount, which I was not prepared for at the time. Although I received a partial refund of $75.10 for that day's charge, the remaining amount of $[redacted].92 has yet to be returned to my card. Despite the hotel manager's efforts to assist in resolving the matter with Quality Inn's corporate office, they claim not to have the funds. In April [redacted], I purchased two OneVanilla Visa cards from your company. Each card had $[redacted] on it, which I still have. Recently, when I tried to use the cards to buy a bike, I discovered that the funds were missing. One card showed transactions at JC Penney, and the other had four transactions, depleting the $[redacted] balance. The last digits of the card used are not mine. I purchased my card on October 1st, but when I tried to use it today, I discovered that the balance is only $0.78. I haven't used the card yet, but I need it to pay my internet bill. I recently received my $[redacted] Visa Vanilla Card as a summer contest prize at work. I used $[redacted] of it to purchase two items on eBay, leaving $4 on the card. I purchased two Vanilla Visa cards each with $[redacted] to use on Amazon, totalling $[redacted]. I also got a MasterCard Vanilla card with a $[redacted] balance, along with another card. I recently purchased a 65'' Samsung HD curved TV for $39.99 on eBay. Although I realized the price seemed too good to be true, I proceeded with the order. Unfortunately, the item was listed as unavailable for shipping the next day. I initiated a return, but the seller did not respond. eBay intervened, and as of yesterday, I was informed that my refund would be credited to my account within 48 hours. I was informed that I had won the lottery but needed to use a My Vanilla card to collect the winnings. I was instructed not to register the card until it could be loaded. I realized it was a scam when they registered the card first. I have the physical card, receipt, serial number from the packaging, and activation receipt. Despite numerous calls to customer service over weeks, I have not made any progress. Each time I contact them, they either disconnect the call or promise to send a dispute document that never arrives. During my last call last week, I was advised to request a dispute form via email, but the email address provided is invalid. I can no longer reach customer service or endure being on hold endlessly. I have all the necessary documentation to support my claim. I have already sent all my information but have not received my money. Please assist me in resolving this issue promptly.

My card was locked due to "fraudulent use" after my mother transferred $22 from her vanilla card to mine. My card has never been used fraudulently or left my possession. The inconvenience arises from not being able to access the transferred funds until I unlock my card, merely because my mother sent me money. It seems contradictory to allow fund transfers if they lead to card locks. The $22 transfer, intended as emergency funds from my mother, now frozen until I can unlock my card in one to two business days, is particularly frustrating, especially given that it's now the weekend. While confirming my identity was not difficult, I wanted to express the inconvenience and unhappiness over this situation as a loyal myvanilla customer for many years. Thank you.

I bought a Visa Vanilla gift card on 11/29/[redacted]. Once I got the card, I began making online purchases. Unfortunately, the card was used at a Ramen house in Seattle, WA, and for multiple Amazon transactions that were not mine. The online spending stopped on December 3rd at 3:07 PM on Amazon. However, there have been unauthorized purchases totaling over $73 over the past two days, which has deeply upset me. I am a California resident, and I purchased the card and made all transactions within my state. It's concerning that purchases were made across state lines at improbable times without my account being compromised. I am seeking a way to receive a refund or correct the money that has been wrongfully taken from my account.
