I purchased a *** dollar vanilla prepaid mastercard from Food Basic Grocery Store. When i went home to register it and check balance on the vanilla prepaid website, it said the card was invalid to contact customer support, this was friday oct **. So i called the number on the back of the card but i got an automated system asking me to do the same thing over and over again to put in the number expiry and ccv and it telling me the card is invalid. So i went online to look for a number to call to get touch with a human and found a number at get human. The person i talked to friday told me to email them a copy of the card as well as the receipt and as soon as they get it they will start working on it. So i emailed them , waited saturday, the card is not activated yet. I think the guy friday said can take up to * days so monday latest but when i called today he said it will be wednesday. So i told him unless they activate the card tonight Saturday oct ** **** for a ***** up i did not cause or is at fault for, I am not waiting till wednesday I aleady called the grocery store and they said if the card is not activated by this evening bring the receipt in with the card and the store manager will handle it. I intent to ask for a refund so if the card is not active by saturday oct ** in the evening, i will get a refund on the prepaid card or if not i will just call Visa and tell them to do a charge back for selling an item that was defective and sold not as advertised, in which the customer service representative has already changed the story of when the card would be activated from with * day to next wednesday now. So activate my card which i purchased and sent in all the documents to with case number ******** by Saturday evening of october ** ****. Or i will resolve the problem sunday morning at the grocery store with refund or a call to visa to do a charge back. I am not waiting till someone get around to it when the story has already changed from it will be dealt with within * day to now its wednesday.**Fix it tonight because Sunday Oct ** **** i am getting a refund on a defective product or Visa which it was purchased on gets a call to do a charge back. Either way this problem is getting fixed in the morning on my time line and not changing delay tactic time lines.
