I recently purchased two vanilla gift cards simultaneously, each loaded with $[redacted]. Upon checking the balance, I found that one card shows the correct amount, but the other one indicates that the numbers are invalid. I attempted to use the number provided at the back of the card, but the automated system kept repeating that it is an invalid card number. I planned to use these cards tomorrow and wanted to ensure that the funds are accurate. The correctly working card shows it was activated on 11/28/[redacted] at 1:55 PM.

I need help disputing some charges on a gift card I received recently. The card was loaded with $50.00, but after checking my balance, it showed $0.00 with a pending transaction of $50.00. I thought it might take a day to update, but today I noticed a transaction of -$50.00 that I did not authorize. I want the money refunded to my Vanilla gift card or a replacement card issued promptly.

I am concerned that my card was used to purchase shoes instead of paying bills for a 99-year-old three-war veteran on hospice who doesn't have 90 days to wait for this issue to be resolved. I believe this could become a public matter quickly. It would be best to promptly refund the money taken to avoid further complications. I have a significant presence online with various groups, and I will not hesitate to escalate this if necessary. I have already contacted the vendor without much success, and I am considering reaching out to their public relations and quality assurance departments as well. Please address this promptly. Thank you.

I have been trying to resolve my lost Vanilla gift card, ending in [redacted], case number [redacted]7. Despite providing proof of purchase on December 20, [redacted], and a current utility bill, I have not received any response via phone, email, or text. PayPal issued a refund of $41.98 on January 12, [redacted], to the same gift card, and I have informed your company of the loss. I have been instructed to wait for a review by the back office, with varying timelines given by phone representatives. Supervisor Eternity mentioned a timeframe of 3 to 4 days on my last call. I am seeking assistance as a loyal customer to obtain a replacement card with the refunded amount. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Ms. Linda M. Lasley.

I bought three $25 gift cards at Family Dollar in East Ridge, TN, around Christmas. Shortly after, one card was declined when attempted for use. The store said it might take 24 hours for the funds to show. Typically, the funds are available immediately for me, so I waited and then checked the balance; it was still not there. Customer service informed me the funds were used on a PayPal account right after purchase. I have filed a fraud complaint and provided my details. They mentioned it could take up to 90 days to resolve. I misplaced the claim number given to me and am searching for it. If necessary, the card number I believe is [redacted][redacted] with a 3-digit code of [redacted]. I am Michael D. Cameron of [redacted] Haggard Rd, Ringgold, GA [redacted]. If this isn't the correct card, I have the right one. I used to buy gift cards frequently for my daughter using my credit card for convenience. I am hoping for assistance with this issue.

My cards are not activating because the cashier couldn't scan them properly. Despite the ordeal lasting for 13 hours, luckily, I still have the receipts. Though they weren't completely damaged, dealing with the representative wasted an additional 30 hours of my time. Every moment is precious, and I can't afford to waste it. I purchased a 3-pack of your $25 cards only to face issues. I feel frustrated having to sort out a problem that should have been resolved promptly, especially after reaching out with no response on your Twitter support.

I bought two cards together and another one separately. Later, I noticed there was no receipt for the two-card purchase. Upon checking, I discovered the cards were inactive. I contacted the store and they replaced one activated card for me. However, when I requested the missing receipt and packaging, the manager, Morgan, refused to provide them. Vanilla gift cards advised me to obtain the electronic journal from the store and send it with pictures of the cards for replacements. Despite contacting Dollar General's home office and waiting for over an hour to speak with someone, I have not received any resolution to the matter.

I recently received an email notifying me of winning a smart phone, requesting a payment of $3.80 for shipping. After making the payment using my prepaid MasterCard, I checked my balance only to find a pending charge of $15.79, which is not what I agreed to pay. Confused by this unexpected discrepancy, I attempted to contact Vanilla Prepaid MasterCard customer service to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, after waiting for half an hour on hold, I was unable to speak with an agent. I urgently need this pending payment to be stopped and the amount refunded to my prepaid MasterCard. This transaction needs to be voided immediately.

I purchased a card at the cashier for $[redacted] to download, and I have the receipt showing the money is still on it, but my card is showing as invalid. The website and hotline are not working, and I haven't been able to reach anyone for help with my issue. Walmart and Vanilla seem to be responsible, as Walmart is involved in every aspect of this debit card, yet they are not assisting me with resolving this problem. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of support and service. I am considering reaching out to the media about this issue.

I have spent hours on hold trying to resolve this issue regarding a fraudulent charge on my daughter's card. After filling out dispute papers and emailing them to icomInc, I was asked to wait 90 days for a refund. The card was used on PayPal without authorization, and we need the remaining balance to be returned promptly. My daughter, a 16-year-old, who has been financially impacted by the pandemic due to losing her part-time job, needs the funds for summer essentials. It is crucial that she receives a replacement card with the stolen balance as soon as possible. I believe swift action is necessary considering the security breach on your website. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Tammy R.

My daughter received a vanilla gift card with $[redacted] on it as a gift. She activated the card and made some purchases she wanted. Yesterday, on 05/08/[redacted], we visited Dairy Queen for a shake, but the card only covered 10 cents. After checking the balance online, we discovered a fraudulent charge of $[redacted].77 pending to Paypal for a Michaelener. Despite trying to contact Vanilla Gift and Paypal multiple times without success, the fraudulent charge went through. I am frustrated by the lack of customer service and want the charge reversed to get her money back.

I purchased an Xbox One with 2 controllers based on my father's recommendation for a good deal. It's been 3 weeks, and my order is still processing. The company is whbsawshops.com, but their customer service email at [redacted] is not responding. The transaction was on 7/18/[redacted] at 4:09 pm, with the company listed in Brooklyn, New York at [redacted]. My order number is [redacted] with ref id# [redacted]39, although I suspect they may be invalid. They charged me $90, but I have no way to track my order, and it seems like a scam.

Hello. On March 1, [redacted], I decided to check the balance of my vanilla gift card online. Unfortunately, I stumbled upon a questionable website which turned out to be a scam. The site failed to display my balance and seemed glitchy, but I didn't immediately realize it was a scam. Finally, on August 13, [redacted], I visited the official website and discovered only 15¢ left on my gift card. The sole transaction listed was from PayPal, showing “PAYPAL *BROOKSNOAH2 -[redacted]97” on 3/2/[redacted] at 4:58 AM, a time when I am never awake. I do not have a PayPal account. This unauthorized transaction drained $24.85 from the original $25 value of the gift card. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide and I am willing to share the card details if needed. Thank you for your help and please let me know if there is any resolution possible!

I purchased a $[redacted] Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard from Food Basic Grocery Store. Upon attempting to register and check the balance on the Vanilla Prepaid website, I received an error message indicating the card was invalid. I contacted customer support but the automated system was unhelpful. I found a number through GetHuman and spoke to a representative on Friday. I was instructed to email a copy of the card and the receipt for further assistance. Despite emailing on Saturday, the card remains inactive. Originally told it would take up to 3 days to resolve, the representative now claims it could take until Wednesday. If the card is not activated by Saturday evening, I will seek a refund from the grocery store or pursue a chargeback through Visa. I will not tolerate further delays or changes to the timeline provided. This issue must be resolved promptly in accordance with my expectations.

Paying in cash for this card seems to be the preferred option these days. Two days after making the purchase on 10/29/20, I encountered a scam involving someone posing as James Anderson from PCH Clearing House. I attempted to address the issue with Walgreens due to difficulties accessing VanillaGift.com and disputing transactions, without success. I also reached out to Amazon but faced obstacles and received non-functional phone numbers. I researched further and hit a dead end, unable to access the balance on the $[redacted] Walgreens purchased card. This company's lack of assistance and reputation makes it discouraging to consider buying another Vanilla Gift card in the future. Feedback through word of mouth resulted in unproductive attempts with Walgreens and Amazon's fraud department to find a resolution together. Unfortunately, there has been no progress. It's essential to let higher powers handle these companies in due time. Currently, I have a very negative view of this card! Avoid purchasing it as you won't be able to resolve any issues! The company's website is unhelpful and doesn't cater to addressing solutions or technical support needs. It feels like a never-ending loop with potential scammers taking advantage of vulnerable individuals to earn their paychecks. This company and its cards are not recommended! Stay clear of this danger zone!

I had a $[redacted] vanilla gift card. I used $82, leaving a balance of $17. I attempted to buy gas for $10, but the card was declined due to insufficient funds. I then tried for $7, but again had insufficient funds. After calling customer service, they confirmed my balance as $17 and said the missing money would be returned within a couple of days. However, now my card appears inactive, and the $17 is not available. I would like to have the remaining balance back on my card.

I purchased a card that I never used, but the funds vanished. After your company conducted an investigation, I was granted a replacement card for the same amount. However, the replacement card has not reached me yet. I have previously detailed the mail operations in our small town, mentioning that there is no USPS delivery to the house, only to the PO Box. UPS, FED EX, and similar services deliver to our residence. I am eagerly waiting to receive the money that I loaded onto the card. Thank you, Ashley B.

I previously mentioned a stolen Vanilla Visa Gift Card. I am wondering if having the last four digits of the card would assist. The card, a gift for my mother, was missing from the Christmas Card she received. The last four digits are [redacted], purchased at Bj's in Clermont, FL. The numbers on the back of the card are [redacted]0. Providing this information to halt the card's usage and possibly obtain a replacement. Thank you, Jacqueline B.

I have been looking for a PS5 for some time now. A couple of nights ago, I thought my search was over when I found a Twitter user, PS5 Restock News, selling a disc version for $[redacted]. They insisted on gift card payment only, so I sent a Visa Vanilla e-gift card as payment. However, after that, they blocked me. I believe this is fraud and I would like a refund. I also think their social media account should be taken down. This has been a significant setback, especially during the holidays, and I hope I can resolve this issue.

On Thursday, November 5, [redacted], I received a call from an individual claiming to be from Amazon. They said I was mistakenly charged $40.00 for a Prime service I didn't use. The person claimed they accidentally sent $[redacted] instead and asked me to buy a $[redacted] Vanilla One gift card from CVS to get $40.00 back. Unfortunately, after following their instructions, I realized I was scammed. I immediately contacted my bank, canceled my debit card, and informed Amazon. I spoke with Supervisor Marceo at Amazon, who advised me to contact Vanilla One. Vanilla One confirmed the card was on hold with 2 pending charges from Nordstrom. I reached out to Nordstrom, spoke with Mary, and then updated Vanilla One. This ordeal has been frustrating and confusing, with conflicting information from Vanilla One. I just want my refund without further complications.
