I bought a $[redacted] Visa Vanilla prepaid card at Shoppers Drug Mart in Niagara Falls, Ontario on Victoria Ave. The card was activated upon purchase, confirmed by the receipt. However, when trying to renew a service online using the same type of card I used last year, the payment was declined by Visa. Upon checking the balance through your phone service, I was told the card numbers were invalid after multiple attempts. Yet, when I called another service number and provided the card numbers, I was informed it was activated with a $[redacted] balance. Despite this, the payment to the company was rejected by Visa once more. Following another balance check, I still encountered the same issue. Please address this matter so I can proceed with my purchase. Card number: 4[redacted] 9[redacted] Thank you.

During my Christmas party with my cousins, we all received vanilla gift cards from our grandparents. Unfortunately, I misplaced my vanilla visa gift card with a remaining balance of $[redacted]. Since it was not personalized, it's hard to know if it was taken intentionally or accidentally by one of my family members. I want to know how I can get a replacement card to access the remaining $[redacted] balance. It's a bit frustrating as everyone at the party was family, and I don't want to suspect anyone of theft, especially if they thought it was a spare gift. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

I have purchased 8-10 gift cards from your company since July of [redacted]. I have experienced several fraudulent transactions that I have reported to you. You requested proof to verify the transactions, even though it was clear that these were not made by me, as they occurred in Texas, New York, or other locations, while I am in Florida. I feel frustrated by the lack of action on your part, despite the obvious signs of fraud. I plan to create videos showcasing each card I bought from you and share them on various platforms to warn others. I have lost over $[redacted] from the total of $[redacted] spent on your cards. I am determined to prevent others from falling victim to your company's practices.

I purchased a new Vanilla gift card at Walgreens and loaded $80 in cash onto it. However, the card didn't work online or in various stores. When I returned to the same Walgreens with the card and receipt, the manager reviewed security footage. They confirmed that $80 was loaded onto the card that was scanned, but the activated card number is different from the one I received. The manager mentioned they had experienced a similar fraud incident with Vanilla gift cards recently. While they couldn't issue a refund for gift cards, they advised me to contact Vanilla directly to report the issue. I am seeking a prompt resolution and refund from Vanilla. Otherwise, I may consider involving the press and social media to raise awareness about this issue. Sincerely, C. L.

In March, I was gifted a $[redacted].00 gift card for my birthday from my girlfriend. I used it on March 25 to order a rifle part from HardenedArms.com. After calling on April 8 for an update, I was informed the order would take 6 to 8 weeks. At the end of the 8-week period, I tried contacting them but their website was down. I then reached out to the customer service number on the back of the vanilla gift card. Despite providing details of the situation, no email was received even after a week. Following another call, the representative confirmed the email was sent to the correct address, but it wasn't in my inbox or junk mail. They assured me they would resend it after discussing with the board members, but I have yet to receive it. I am seeking a refund and resolution to this issue. Thank you, Josh.

On April 30, I purchased a $[redacted].00 gift card from Walmart for my son's anniversary. I mailed it on May 1 via certified mail, as recommended by the USPS clerk, for added security. Unfortunately, the clerk forgot to check the return receipt box, and I failed to verify it. Upon tracking the package and discovering my son had not received it, I found it had been last recorded as leaving Green Valley on May 2 at 4:29 PM and arriving in League City on May 6 at 8:13 AM. Despite my efforts and speaking with Supervisor Vanessa, my son was only informed at the [redacted] USPS that the gift card was lost. I received a letter confirming the loss from the League City USPS. I included the gift card receipt with the package as a precaution, but I can't locate the card number for proof of purchase. I am unsure if there is any recourse available or if I have to accept the loss. Being 81 is not easy, and this has been a disappointing experience in what was meant to be a lovely anniversary gift for my son. Sonya K. M. [redacted] [redacted] W. I visited the post office after facing issues online. I spoke with Supervisor Vanessa who suggested my son go to the [redacted] USPS, where he was informed the package was lost, with no further details provided. Recently, I received a letter from the League City USPS, stating the lost gift card cannot be recovered. I had sent the gift card receipt along with the card and had noted the card number, which I am now unable to find. There is little proof of purchase except on my bank statement without specific numbers. I am attempting to contact Vanilla and came across your website. Do I have any options, or must I accept the loss? Growing older at 81 is not as delightful as they say. This mishap has put a damper on a special anniversary gift. Sonya K. Merrill [redacted] W. Subject: Concern Regarding Replacement Visa Gift Card I recently received a replacement Visa Gift Card (48[redacted]-9[redacted]) related to Case Number [redacted]9. Upon activation, I was surprised to find the balance to be $50 instead of the expected $[redacted] per my previous communication. I had originally purchased a $[redacted] card for my grand-daughter alongside a separate $50 card. Sadly, the $[redacted] card seems lost in the mail since she only received the one with $50. Despite trying to inform Customer Service about this discrepancy, I was disconnected due to a possible outage from your end. Hence, I'm reaching out via email to request a $50 compensation for the missing amount. I have successfully activated the $50 card but still hope to resolve this matter. Please confirm receipt of this message and acknowledge the need for a replacement $50 card to make up for the total loss of $[redacted]. Your prompt attention to this issue is highly appreciated. Best regards, Dr. R. Lee

I purchased a $[redacted] Vanilla gift card on August 15th from Coles supermarket. After opening it at home, I discovered that the card had already been used and showed signs of damage. Despite being sealed, the card had scratches, someone's signature, and initials on it. The balance had been fully utilized. I have attached the receipt of purchase and images of the card as requested by Vanilla's customer service. I am disappointed to have spent $[redacted] on a card that was already used before I even opened it. Please look into this issue. Reference Number: [redacted] Name: Jade Z. I purchased a vanilla Gift card in February [redacted] for $[redacted]. The next day, I tried to use it to pay bills but found the balance was only $0.64. After contacting customer service, I was advised to reach out to the merchants. I spoke with both Walmart.com and Morphe.com and received emails with reference numbers promising a refund. I followed up with vanilla Gift regarding the refund timeline. Despite being told the refund would come on a Saturday, it hasn't been resolved. I was instructed to send a dispute packet, which I completed with all necessary documentation. However, when I called to check on the progress, the agent claimed they never received my email, even though I have proof of sending it. The case number is #[redacted]0. I am in a dire situation as I live paycheck to paycheck and facing homelessness. I am puzzled by the 90-day processing period when the retailers have confirmed the refund. The agent also canceled my card against my wishes. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, J.D.

I bought a $50 Vanilla Gift Card recently. After activating it online, the card seemed active on vanillagift.com. Despite this, it is not working for online purchases. I got the card on September 26th at 4:57 PM, and it's still being declined. PayPal and eBay both reject the card. I hope to either get it activated properly or be compensated for the $50 loss.

Hello! I need assistance regarding an unauthorized purchase made using my $[redacted] gift card. It has caused a significant issue for me as I had plans for that money. This money was hard-earned, and this incident is truly disheartening for me. Thank you sincerely. Chris

My son sent me a $50 gift card from Florida while I was in a nursing home. I always had it with me, but when I tried to use it, Amazon said it was already used in mid-September. After struggling to explain the situation to a customer service representative, I was told they would investigate. They mentioned sending me a form with a detailed process that seemed overly complex, especially for someone in my situation. I am 81 years old and alert, residing in an assisted living facility. This process of waiting three months and filling out multiple forms seems overwhelming and confusing. I am considering involving the fraud unit in Illinois to look into this matter. My name is Barbara H., and you can reach me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted]

On October 16, I purchased and activated a $50 Vanilla Visa Metallic Gift Card at my nearby grocery store. I placed it inside a card that was sent to its destination, but unfortunately, the gift card did not make it. It seems like the envelope was tampered with as there was a slit on the side. I'm uncertain if there is a way to deactivate or cancel the card now. I feel like reporting this to USPS will not help much. Is there any solution for this issue?

On August 22nd, I used my card on Paypal. Following an issue, Paypal reinstated it on my account. Unfortunately, I discarded the card after the transaction, assuming I wouldn't need it for a refund. The refund of $48.20 was processed on November 22nd and cleared on Monday, December 2nd. Regrettably, I am unable to use the refunded amount as the security code from the card is required. I possess the last four digits of the card and seek assistance to access the remaining balance on the gift card.

I purchased an online game account, but the seller scammed me. I had already paid $40 in Visa Gift Cards, and the seller was demanding an additional $20, even though they had already taken the account. I sent images of the physical cards, and the balance has been spent. I hope to get a refund for those purchases and have the money returned to the cards so I can use them myself. I have the seller's phone number if necessary. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I received a Vanilla gift card for my birthday. However, upon trying to use it, I discovered that the balance was zero. Upon checking the transactions on the vanillagift.com website, it appears that someone has spent the money from the card. I have attempted to contact Vanilla gift card customer service, but have been unable to reach anyone. The situation seems suspicious. Can you assist me in investigating the account from which the transaction was made and advise me on how to recover the funds? Thank you, Elena

I purchased a card and an item worth $60 from Amazon. Unfortunately, there was an issue, and they refunded me $30. However, when I checked my card, I noticed that another $30 was taken out by "PayPal," although I do not have a PayPal account. I contacted Vanilla Gift Card, and they advised me to file a case. Despite multiple attempts, the case was not resolved satisfactorily, and I asked them to cancel it. They claim they did, but now I cannot access my card. I am incredibly frustrated and just want them to unlock my card and refund the total amount, which should be over $60.

I received a $[redacted] gift card, but when I tried to use it for the first time, I was informed that only $5 was left on it. Upon checking the website, I saw transactions totaling $[redacted] for Amazon digital after my initial use, which is puzzling. I got this gift card as a token of appreciation from work, which makes this situation disappointing. I'm a loyal Amazon Prime member with an Amazon credit card, so I didn't need to use the gift card on the site, and it doesn't appear in my Amazon transactions. I do have the transaction code for when the gift card was used.

I received a $50 gift card for Christmas. I used $2.15 for a purchase, but then my card was declined for another purchase. When I checked my balance, I had nothing left. I noticed a charge for PayPal to someone named Whitney, which wasn't me. I haven't shared my card with anyone. I am missing $47.85 from my gift card balance. What steps will be taken to resolve this issue?
