We had a reservation made in Fripp SC on July **th, for our daughters wedding on Oct **-** of ****. The owner apparently was messaging me via my VRBO app, but I didn’t know to check it, because I expected after our initial down payment and autopay thereafter, I didn’t need to check. To our shock when we looked last night, it had been cancelled by the owner for, in his words, he had accidentally double booked it. He stated that * weeks ago he returned $****.** back to us. We were sure we had used our debit card, but we are unable to see that return there. I do not want anymore money taken from us for this reservation, and I would like a breakdown of exactly how and when all of the transactions were done for this particular reservation please, and also if you could please give me the last * numbers of the card that was used so we can check it as well. This has been an incredible inconvenience to say the least on the week of our daughters wedding no less, and I thought when you booked and a deposit was put down we were in! I didn’t realize that on this site VRBO that it was handled by both your organization as well as anytime the owner sees fit to book without checking with you first! Anyway, I would appreciate a quick and thorough response, as I only want to give a very small amount of my attention to this during this special week we are planning on sharing with our children, family, and friends.
