I rented HA-IKOJHD.A. Rental property ******* for the month of March *-** . We paid a refundable amount of $*** during our stay I accidentally broke a window trying to kill some bees I reported in immediately and the owner of the home said the price to fix window was $***. I asked if this could be taken out of our refund the owner said yes and that is what I did . That would leave a $*** refund for us. After waiting for our refund I called to ask what the problem wa and they told me they sent the refund to our bank Feb *st but our bank declined it because the credit card was invalid because of a breach of our credit card during our stay and a new card was issued to us. I have talked to different people and no one will take my new information.The owner says it is not up to him to reimburse me and homeaway cannot take my new credit card number. I feel like this is a way Homeaway makes money off of travelers. What can be done about this. We have rented from vrbo for ** years and it seems like since Homeaway has stepped into the picture prices have gone up considerably with steep extra fees and no longer to speak with owners and now this. I truly hope I get some answers this time . Mary Gilbert
