Please help ASAP. Reservation ID HA-TZN*X*. We rented a condo in Maui through VRBO and the property owner, Lisa, just told us she double booked and we that we are just out of luck and have to find a new place at the last minute. She also said that she can only refund the fees she got from us, not the VRBO fees. So we had to find a new place, pay THIER fees in addition to a higher price, AND and we only got back about half of the money we paid for this VRBO reservation. We are out almost $**** by no fault of our own. How do we get the VRBO fees back after the owner “accidentally double-books” property and backs out? This had been an absolute nightmare and we want our money back from this booking that never happened. This feels like a scam and has ruined our vacation.
