I am experiencing ongoing harassment from United Healthcare. Repeatedly receiving calls meant for "Casey" despite explaining to the representatives that they have the wrong number. I have taken steps to address this by filing a complaint with the FCC and registering on the national Do Not Call list. Despite these actions, the calls persist. Please cease all contact to [redacted] and remove this number from your database. I am determined to resolve this issue and will proceed with further actions if necessary.

I reside in Aurora, Colorado ([redacted]) and wish to transition from PACE to a United Healthcare (UHC) policy effective January 1, [redacted]. I have been informed by an agent that my UHC policy will be active starting on this date. Currently enrolled in PACE under the care of InnovAge, I aim to discontinue their services by December 31, [redacted]. InnovAge has requested that I sign a form authorizing the release of my Protected Health Information to Rocky Mountain Human Services. However, the form indicates that by signing, I waive my HIPAA protection. I am seeking assistance, possibly from Ms. Clarke in your compliance department. Please get in touch with me at [redacted]. My name is C. Snyder, and I reside at [redacted] Havana Street, Aurora, Colorado [redacted]. Thank you.

I am struggling to get assistance with my disability since UnitedHealthcare ceased payment on 11/8/21. I have non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver and cannot lift anything due to my illness. My physician completed UHC forms, which were submitted by my HR Representative, but benefits ceased without explanation. Contacting UHC has been frustrating - calls get disconnected, I am put on hold for hours, or get cut off after being transferred. Despite leaving messages, no one has responded to me. I have multiple insurances through Paladin Furniture Industries in Hiddenite, NC, but UHC has not been helpful. It's been stressful receiving vague letters requesting more information while benefits are abruptly halted. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I need to arrange transportation, and they instructed me to contact United Healthcare for member services in order to have miles credited for my transportation. When I called, Transportation did not provide a ride, stating I needed to speak with United Healthcare to authorize miles. I am unsure of the next steps, but this is the guidance provided. I am hopeful that United Healthcare can assist me. Thank you.

I would like to request cancellation of my new United Healthcare insurance. I have been unable to receive a text message for verification, and the online code verification process has not been successful for me. Kindly contact me at [[redacted]] [redacted] for verification purposes, but please do not send any text messages. Unfortunately, I do not have a specific number to provide as I have not received any paperwork yet. I had submitted a form to switch my health coverage from CarePlus Platinum HMO POS to United Healthcare HMO POS. However, as of yesterday, the issue I had regarding a medication has been resolved, even though this particular medication is not covered by United Healthcare's formulary.

I am currently a patient at Victory Methadone Clinic, but after moving to Holt, Michigan on March 1st, I started receiving treatment at Victory of Lansing. The Lansing clinic does not accept SWMBA like the one in Kalamazoo did. I have been told I need to switch my United Health Care to Holt or Lansing in Ingham County. I have just enough money to cover a day and a half of treatment at the Lansing Methadone Clinic if I skip meals for a day or two. My old address was [redacted] Race St. Kalamazoo, MI [redacted], and my new address is [redacted] Cedar St. Holt, MI [redacted]. I have been paying $45 for the first day of treatment and $15 each day after since starting on March 1, [redacted]. As of today, March 10th, I have paid a total of $[redacted] out of pocket and am struggling financially. I appreciate any help or advice on whether United Health would reimburse me for the clinic payments made from March 1st to March 9th.

UHC recently recalled all medical claims paid at the end of December [redacted]. Despite my numerous calls, I have not received a clear explanation from UHC on the matter. Initially, they cited dental coverage, which I did have, but there seems to be confusion as there is no record of my medical coverage. Despite multiple attempts at contacting UHC, I have been transferred around only to reach dead ends with no resolution. Furthermore, my Medicare provider, with whom I had a Coordination of Benefits agreement until 5/9/[redacted], has not received a response regarding the change in my coverage status with UHC. I am seeking clarity on the specific date when UHC terminated my medical insurance policy that commenced in February [redacted]. It has been challenging to obtain a straightforward and honest answer from UHC regarding this issue.

During the last four hours, my husband and I made several attempts on four different phone numbers to reach out. Unfortunately, we experienced extended hold times of up to 25 minutes, were disconnected once, and even cut off mid-sentence during an urgent situation requiring his ID number for a critical rehab assessment today. The inability to address this matter promptly until tomorrow is distressing, especially considering its importance. The limited service hours from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. were cited as a reason for the delay, along with being directed to the wrong department twice and even confusion about which supervisor to speak with. It has been chaotic. Please urgently reach out to me at [redacted] as we are unsure about how to proceed. Each time we called, we provided necessary details like date of birth, contact number, full name, state, and other relevant information. The relevant individual is Steven Simcox, born on May 21, [redacted], covered by Pennsylvania's Montgomery County Medical Assistance under United Healthcare Community. The previous account associated with this is [redacted], but please use the contact number provided above. Thank you, Nicole Simcox (Wife)

Hello, my name is Jon. I was born on December 17, [redacted], and my member ID is [redacted]99-00 with group number [redacted]. I recently changed from UHC's HMO 2 healthcare advantage plan to the PPO health care advantage plan to have access to more providers. However, despite having several providers listed under the PPO, they are rejecting my insurance and are hesitant to schedule appointments. I am beginning to regret choosing United Healthcare and wish I had gone with a different insurance company with broader coverage acceptance. I don't want to blame anyone, but I have ongoing health issues that require attention, and I have been unwell for about a year and a half. I used to be with HealthNet, but after realizing they were not the same, I switched in hopes of better service.

Hello, I was covered under my wife's employer's insurance plan, but after our recent divorce, I wasn't aware that the coverage was ending. I found out today when a doctor's office and pharmacy informed me my insurance was declined. United disclosed the plan was terminated on March 31, [redacted]. I usually receive communications from United and would have appreciated a heads-up to plan accordingly. I incurred healthcare expenses, notably a colorectal test, without knowing I was no longer covered. I am exploring options like COBRA for April expenses, though it might not be sustainable long term. I am interested in learning about alternative coverage through United for future needs. Knowing I was uninsured, I wouldn't have scheduled these procedures. Thank you, Jeff Franklin. [Redacted] Previous Member ID: [redacted]44 Group #: [redacted].

Dealing with stage IV colon cancer and having a compromised immune system, I rely on oxygen supplies from Lincare in Kansas City, MO. Despite paying upfront monthly, I consistently face issues with their service, receiving incomplete and unlabelled packages. Today, I received a box with random items but missing essential parts. This recurring problem of incomplete supply deliveries, coupled with the hassle of multiple follow-up calls just to ensure timely shipments, is frustrating. As someone in a vulnerable health situation, especially during the pandemic, having consistent and complete supplies is crucial. I am looking to have a say in choosing a reliable supplier to meet my needs effectively. Furthermore, with the current ambiguity regarding the contract duration, I am seeking a resolution to this ongoing supply chain dilemma.

If United is no longer affiliated with Wake Med Services in Raleigh, NC, I am concerned. Three years ago, I had a colonoscopy and follow-up procedures there due to concerning polyps. Despite a suggested surgery, I postponed due to the pandemic. Now, for a follow-up, I wish to remain with Wake Med and my trusted medical team. Transitioning to new doctors mid-process is uncomfortable and not ideal. I hope to continue with familiar caregivers for continuity of care. If necessary, please advise on next steps. Thank you. - Tricia Hogan

In December last year, I received a visit from a UHC representative claiming there was a problem with a home visit. However, I had not scheduled any appointments with them since before November when I moved to my new address. It's possible they went to my old address or came when I was not present, as I was working. The representative criticized me, suggested mental health treatment, and mentioned a Mrs. Dunne I used to work for in the Marine Corps. The second visit included a tall blonde and a trainee who laughed during the appointment, which was the only one conducted by her. I suspect a group of women is causing issues by spreading rumors and making up false stories about visits that never occurred. This unsettling behavior has led me to request no further visits from UHC representatives.

I am facing challenges with my service coordinator as she is departing without providing the in-home care assistance I desperately need. Despite her presence for almost two years, I have not received the care prescribed after my hospital stay. Being wheelchair-bound and reliant on neighbors for help, I now need assurance that the next coordinator will be dedicated and knowledgeable in finding me a suitable in-home caregiver. The lack of progress under the current coordinator's supervision has been frustrating, with numerous excuses given for the delays. I hope for better support and care in the future.

I recently received a check for $58.76 made out to the Estate of Robert Farrell. Upon consulting with the bank, they informed me that I cannot deposit it into his account. They suggested that I reach out to you to see if you could reissue the check under just Robert Farrell to enable me to deposit it. This account belongs to both him and me, Carol Millson, his mother, at [redacted] Turnbull Estates Drive, New Smyrna Beach, FL. There won't be any Probate Court involvement. If you require any additional details, kindly let me know. Thank you for your assistance.

I have faced challenges trying to transfer my local pharmacy prescriptions to UHC's Optum Rx service. Despite numerous attempts with offshore service representatives, I discovered that UHC personnel should be the ones calling the pharmacy in Minneapolis, MN to obtain the prescription information directly. It seems that other healthcare carriers handle this process correctly, unlike UHC. The reliance on offshore phone services by UHC appears to result in misinformation and inconveniences. The need for customers like me to make these calls ourselves can lead to additional costs for the pharmacies. This issue, along with other frustrating experiences, has led me to consider switching to a different health insurance plan provider. I intend to address these challenges with UHC and their offshore representatives before making a final decision.

I have been attempting to receive my OTC card since before Nov 25, [redacted]. Despite multiple calls to customer service, each time I am assured it will arrive in 7-10 business days. On December 28th, I was told a new member card with the OTC feature would be sent after January 1st, but it didn't arrive by Jan 7th. When I called on Jan 19th, I was informed it was dispatched on Jan 9th, yet I still have not received it. Today, I was told by customer service it would be sent out again, but this time I was unable to speak with a manager. I have tried contacting the corporate office without success. My doctors require the new card, and I am at a loss for what to do next.

I am calling regarding my mother's denied transfer to an in-network physical rehabilitation facility. A few weeks ago, she was scheduled to move to a different facility but did not prefer it, prompting us to find an alternate one, which we have now located. Today, both my mother and I, along with the hospital, anticipated her relocation to the new facility, only to receive notice of the denial. The doctor has specifically noted in her medical records that she necessitates the assistance provided by this facility. I am puzzled as to why she was approved for one facility but not the other, especially when there are openings available and a clear requirement for her to transition.

I contacted the United Healthcare OTC number on the back of my card, and the representative took my order to pay my T-Mobile bill. I was informed it would take 10 days to process, but after that time, the bill remained unpaid. Upon following up, I was told the payment was sent and accepted, even though my phone was disconnected. In another instance, my OTC card did not go through during a Walmart transaction, causing my bank account to be charged instead. As a retired individual on a fixed income, these errors have had a severe impact on my budget and essential expenses. I am seeking a refund of $[redacted] withdrawn from my Direct Express account and the payment of $64 for two months of T-Mobile service, as originally planned. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly. - LL

I am feeling incredibly frustrated. I have UHC Dual Complete, one of my benefits being $[redacted] for food, utilities, and healthy over-the-counter items. However, for the past three months, I have not been able to access this benefit. Despite being told I have $[redacted] to use, I have been through three incidents where I was embarrassed at the store due to my benefits not working. I tried to shop at Walmart twice, only to leave with an empty cart. I have contacted customer service numerous times, and each time I am assured my card is functioning correctly. Recently, I was informed a new card could be sent, but it might take weeks. This prolonged issue needs urgent attention, and I also expect to receive benefits for the two months they were not accessible. I have unsuccessfully tried to utilize my card at Food Lion and Walmart on separate occasions. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you. - Gail L.
