Unfortunately, upon arrival, he was directed to the baggage belt instead. Subsequently, he was misguided and had to go back through security, causing delays. Despite his efforts to file a complaint upon reaching Roanoke, the assistance was lacking. It took him additional trips to the airport to retrieve his damaged hand carry, with no satisfactory resolution offered. His flight in December was cancelled, leading to further inconveniences and significant delays, yet no compensation was provided, contrary to his expectations based on previous experiences with the airline. Hello, my name is Tareq Lafriai. I made a booking through Expedia, ultimately with United, for a flight on February 2nd. Due to the closure of the airport in Rak because of Covid-19 until the 7th, I rescheduled my flight for that day. However, at the Rak airport, I encountered issues with Swiss Air connecting to United for my luggage to reach the final destination. The flight was canceled, and I had to ask a friend in the USA to rearrange it for today, the 9th, but faced the same problem. I was told to verify myself in person by United, just 15 minutes before the 2:25 pm departure here in Rak, Morocco. I would like to switch this flight to another airline partnered with United, as I prefer not to be caught in the middle of competition or miscommunication between companies. Subject: Commendation for UAL Corporate Office Staff - United Ground Express - Portland ME I wanted to recognize the exceptional service provided by three amazing reservations staff members at United Ground Express in Portland ME, PWM. Despite initially facing some challenges with my Electronic Travel Certificates, Sherry LaRochelle, Arnaud Nyagasaza, and Heather Pendleton went above and beyond to assist me. After delving into the issue for 45 minutes, they efficiently resolved the problem, allowing me to book a special trip from PWM to EWR to LIS for my wife and I's 25th anniversary River Cruise with Viking. In November, I bought a ticket for my sister to Raleigh, NC for January [redacted]. We had to cancel due to widespread flight cancellations related to Covid. I had purchased AIG insurance with the ticket, but my insurance claim was denied. My sister does not want to travel, so the credit is of no use to her. Can I get a refund for the ticket or transfer the credit to my name for future travel?

I need assistance with canceling my second reservation for a first-class ticket from SHD to DEN on 4/12. After speaking with a representative, my original reservation was changed, and I was able to cancel one ticket successfully for full refund with confirmation # NF99M7. However, attempting to cancel the second ticket with reservation # NGQM3G has been challenging, possibly due to entering the same birthdate for both seats. Dear [redacted], We had a reservation from SBP to LAX on February 20, [redacted], with a connecting flight to OGG. On short notice, both flights were cancelled causing significant inconvenience as our plans in Maui started on February 20. After being rescheduled to a Monday flight, we had to arrange a shuttle to LAX for $[redacted] to catch a replacement flight on February 20. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service from this company. When I tried to reach an agent at the [redacted] number, I was kept waiting for over 20 minutes and then got disconnected. I specifically wanted to upgrade my baggage policy as advertised on the United website. I made sure to review the policy before purchasing my tickets and even took screenshots of the advertisement mentioning that I could upgrade my baggage online after buying my tickets. However, after purchasing the tickets, I received a message saying my flight is not eligible for prepaid bags, which goes against what was advertised. This situation may even affect my preferred travel date. I am either seeking a full refund or want to upgrade my baggage according to the policy without any issues. I need assistance with a credit that is not appearing in my profile. Earlier today, I mistakenly booked a ticket using the wrong credit card, which I promptly canceled within a minute. However, after reattempting to book, only one out of three travel credits was returned to my account. Additionally, the price of the ticket has changed since. I am seeking assistance regarding my travel plans for February 20, [redacted]. Our original reservation, made in July [redacted], was to depart from SBP at 6 a.m. to LAX with a connecting flight to OGG. Unfortunately, our flight from SBP to LAX got cancelled on February 19 at 9:30 p.m. It was rescheduled to Denver, then cancelled again. We were later rebooked for flights on February 21, which did not align with our rental house reservation in Maui starting on February 20. Eventually, we were rescheduled for a 1:50 p.m. flight from LAX on February 20, but we had no means to get to LAX from SBP. Consequently, we had to pay $[redacted].00 for a shuttle van to LAX to catch our connecting flight. I recently experienced difficulties with customer service while attempting to change a flight over the phone. After spending over two hours on the line, I am still facing issues. My wife and I booked our tickets on March 2nd under the Itinerary L1HM2F. Our flights were from Chicago to Philadelphia on UA1638 departing on April 23rd at 8:20 am, and returning on April 25th at 6:25 am on UA [redacted]. Initially, my wife needed to modify her ticket only, changing her flight from Chicago to Baltimore on April 19th but keeping the return flight to Chicago on the 25th. The agent mistakenly altered both our itineraries but assured us she would correct it. Despite our explanation, she proceeded to split the itinerary and rebook my flight from Chicago to Philadelphia on UA1638. This adjustment resulted in a fare cost difference I was asked to pay, which I find unreasonable as my flight should not have been changed. I now have a new itinerary K2S0VJ and am instructed to contact United to have my ticket issued. I seek resolution without incurring the fare difference and only agree to a small fee for the itinerary split. Your prompt assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently made flight arrangements for my son, Luca Kai Magee, from Newark to Paris, with Confirmation No. E7WWZS. I also booked an extra legroom seat for approximately $[redacted] for him. Upon canceling that flight, I rebooked for a trip to London on Friday with Confirmation No. J9RXES. I was surprised to find out that the additional seat payment would not be refunded. Subject: Flight Itinerary Issue I had a flight from Kansas City (MCI) to Fort Myers (RSW) on December 19, [redacted], which was canceled due to COVID. On March 7, [redacted], I tried to reschedule my flight using the United confirmation number MTTZC6 and got a new confirmation number GWVLBV for a flight on July 14, [redacted]. My daughter's flight from IAD to GCM was canceled, leaving her stranded at Dulles Airport. As she is a minor attending boarding school and was on her way home to the Cayman Islands, I tried booking a hotel, but establishments refused to complete the transaction. I am extremely upset with United Airlines for claiming their goal is to ensure every flight is a positive experience when this has been a nightmare. I departed from Puerto Vallarta on Saturday, the 5th. I intended to change flights due to a delay for my connection in Denver on the way back to Sun Valley. Despite assurances that I would make my next flight, things went awry. The luggage retrieval was delayed, and when found, it was on a different belt. Unfortunately, the connection was missed, leading to an overnight stay in Denver. The initially offered hotel had no dining options, and exhausted from a day without food and unable to locate the shuttle, I opted for the Hilton Garden Inn. I then tried to book a flight from Allentown to Columbus for March 13th through a third-party site. Due to a $[redacted] credit issue, I couldn't complete the booking. When I later tried to book for March 16th, there were insufficient funds, causing confusion and needing assistance from customer service. Ultimately, my sister had to pay an additional $24 for the flight, which had a layover in Chicago. I was surprised by the credit policy and why the credit didn't reflect earlier. I have a concern regarding my seat assignment for flight from AMS to SFO with confirmation number HG529B. Initially, we had seats 36 D & 37D, but the seat assignments seem to have changed to 36 C & D on the seat map. I noticed that seats 36 J (for M) & 37 J (for K) are available, which would be acceptable for us. Please make a note in our booking that we will be arriving from AT [redacted] (Tangier to AMS) at 11:30 a.m. so this can be considered for our connecting flight. Additionally, for our outbound flights, can a note be added for our connecting flights? 1. G8S455 - June 24 IAH to AMS at 4:55 p.m. Karen connecting to AT [redacted] from AMS to Tangier departing at 12:50 p.m. on June 25th. 2. GP8VY8 - July 1st IAH to AMS at 4:55 p.m. M connecting to AT [redacted] from AMS to Tangier departing at 12:50 p.m. on July 2nd. I am also interested to know if UA can check our bags through to Tangier on Royal Air Maroc for our outbound journey.

Good morning, I am seeking clarification regarding my eligibility for entry into the United States of America. I am unsure about the current regulations. I received both doses of the vaccine on 25 September [redacted]. In Italy, I was supposed to get a booster shot in March to renew the green pass. However, I contracted COVID-19 in January, and my dual vaccination certificate was replaced with a recovery one. I understand that the healing certification is not accepted in the United States. Currently, I can travel within Italy and possibly Europe using my green healing pass. I am not planning to get the third dose before June because the healing certificate is recognized. I am scheduled to fly with United Airlines from Milan Malpensa to New York on 7 May [redacted]. Considering the expiration of my recovery certificate, do I need to present my double vaccination certificate even though it has been 8 months? Will it be accepted?

My departure was delayed by 90 minutes, causing me to miss my connecting flight to Rio de Janeiro. I was unable to contact customer service by phone or online, and I did not receive any notifications on the United app. After discovering United had booked me on alternative flights with Azul Airlines, which I was not informed of, I had to purchase a ticket with GOL Airlines to reach Rio. Due to weather conditions, my flight was diverted, and I experienced further issues with a car rental reservation upon arrival. Dear Customer Service, I was scheduled to fly with United Airlines on UA1660 (or possibly UA5437) to San Francisco on March 21, [redacted], with an Aer Lingus booking reference 2DGD32. Unfortunately, I missed the flight and the United representative informed me that my bag may have been loaded onto the aircraft. I then booked a new flight with Alaska Airways the same day, but my bag did not accompany me. I am reaching out to request assistance in tracking my bag. I would like to know if it was offloaded at Palm Springs so my brother, who lives nearby, could collect it, or if it remained on the aircraft. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the luggage reclaim tag.
