My husband and I booked a first class flight to Las Vegas for Valentines Day*Anniversary. Flight conf.***HEGM everything went fine until we landed. We were given wrong directions exiting boarding gate to our baggage claim because we landed at a different gate at the last minute and went to the opposite side of the airport that we needed to be on, and was told that we would have to wait for a shuttle to take us back to the correct gate on the opposite side for our luggage. When we finally got there an hour later we found our luggage not to be there and was told we had to go make a claim. Meanwhile our limo driver has been waiting for us and follows us to the claim office only to be told we would be charged an extra ** to ** minutes depending on how long this was going to take if we wanted him to still take us to our Hotel because our time had exceeded our agreement. After waiting in line with five others on the same flight to make a claim and treated as though we were an inconvenience to the attendant at the service desk we left to go to the hotel ** some dollars later and almost * hours later. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the room we thought we would you getting was given away because we were late checking in, a king size bed luxury Suite facing the strip was given away, but that they had a handicapped room with two queen size beds available. Beyond disappointment I walked away as my husband stayed to try to get better accommodations, since it was our Valentines*Anniversary celebration. We had made dinner reservations at wonderful restaurant which got cancelled because we were scheduled to go to the hotel straight from airport, freshen up change into dress attire and go in order to make our reservation on time. Not only were we late we had no luggage with our clothes shoes and toiletries, my husbands medications...nothing. Our our plans of a short but sweet getaway was ruined. We walked down to the casino food court to grab a hamburger because all the restaurants were booked for Valentine's Day. We received a text at **:** pm saying they located our luggage that it never left Denver but was on a later flight and we'd have it by the next morning. Lost baggage claim * LAS*****M. Needless to say, too little to late, but thanks for the tooth brush and tooth paste we were given at the customer service desk. This trip was already a short getaway, then turned out to be a short and expensive couple of days away from home, running around from one end of the airport to another and one line after another, left tired and disappointed. Now I ask you this, what do you offer your customers to make up for such a horrible inconvenience and disappointing experience?
