I have future flight credits in my account GP****** which I wish to use. The credit is for about $*,***. I want to use it to get two tickets from DC to SFO for a total cost of $***. When I start the booking on the United Website, I am getting a message that the remaining balance of $**** will be issued in the form of a future travel certificate. What is a future travel certificate? The current balance could be used until March ****. Will the future travel certificate could be used until March **** as well?
