I requested to change my flight from October **, ****, to October **, ****, because there wasn't an uber,lyft, or taxi available to get me to the airport in Paducah, Kentucky on time for my flight. This town is very small and initially, I was going to drive a truck that belongs to a friend but the truck's battery was dead and that's when I had to try to find a ride. I wasn't able to and knew I was going to miss my flight. In order to change the flight, I paid $***.** for the switch and the person that I spoke to when I called customer service told me that I would get a voucher that could be used towards United Airlines. The flight number was UA **** (Paducah, Kentucky to Chicago-Ohare) and UA **** (Chicago-Ohare to El Paso, Tx) for October **th, ****. Is there a way to receive a refund in money rather than a voucher? Otherwise, I have not received any information regarding this voucher or refund at all and it is almost November. Please let me know as soon as possible the outcome?
