My wife and I were flying to Hawaii for our annual vacation, on United airlines, when we got to the SLC airport, we found that they had overbooked the flight, and were asking for people willing to accept a travel voucher for future travel with united in order to arrange us on a different flight to hawaii. My wife and I met with the united rep at the gate, settled on *** Dollars per person voucher for future travel. We got some physical printed vouchers, and she got our emails so send an E-voucher as well. We either never got the email or somehow lost the email because we cannot find it now, at the time we're trying to redeem the vouchers. The vouchers don't have a valid expiration date or issue date, or reference number*pin*promotion code. So I'm thinking the lady at the gate either hustled us and gave us bogus vouchers, or she really ment to have everything emailed to us but got busy and forgot. Either way, our short vacation was derailed and inevitably lead to a variety of other snowball problems r*t the travel delay. We were happy to have that happen for the compensation promised, but now we cant redeem that compensation and want to make sure that I talk to a human with enough power to get this straightened out. We are trying to book our next summer's vacation with the voucher money and can't do so until this is sorted out.**Thanks!
