case ref: ******** *United not so united for kosher travellers***Dear Sirs, **PASSENGERS: BENJAMIN CHAIM MENAHEM AND CHARLOTTE FIONA MENAHEM *FLIGHT REF: KPXFZS.**My wife and I travelled from London to Cancun with United Airlines on **th December returning on * January. **Unfortunately, despite pre booking and numerous checks we were told that there were no kosher meals for us on our outbound flight. ** hours without a substantial meal was a severe health risk to me and my wife. **To make matters worse, even though we requested that the kosher meals be provided on our return flight (see below where they confirmed this has been provisionally requested) there were again no kosher meals for us – we had to repeat the request at Cancun airport at the initial bag check, again at customer service and at the gate ** **It was only due to one lady Sandra physically dragging the meals onto the plane at the last minute, that we could eat over the ** hour flight on the way home. **Flying with United Airlines did not live up to expectations especially as your website clearly states as part of your mission statement that “our approach is treating diversity and inclusion like a core leadership competency, taking diversity well beyond compliance” and we are concerned for the future safety of travellers. **We were promised $*** refund as compensation (see below) – but would perhaps ask you to review and see what compensation you think fitting given the above to restore our faith and indeed custom ***************************We await hearing from you * *Ben and Charlotte Menahem
