Ok, I have quite the issue here so buckle up. Ok, so my good friend of mine let me borrow his steam account so that I could play R*. Nothing wrong there everything worked and he told me "hey eventually get your own copy of the game." I said, "yeah sure no problem". Yesterday evening, I made that purchase on my own steam account. I started it up and I don't understand how, but somehow it was still on his play account under my steam account. This confused me, so what I did was uninstall the game (thinking the previous download may have been the problem since it was originally downloaded on his account) and when it was ready, start it from my steam account. This is where the problem starts, it wouldn't let me play because it said that there was an error authenticating the purchase of the game. I believe since it was under his account originally and that they merged it may have been a red flag to the sign in bot. I'm just asking to get my account to have the game and no affiliation with his. I got the deluxe edition that includes all the year * ops on my steam account (captiemboy****) If you need additional information I would be glad to provide, I've bought this game for my ps*, Xbox, and now again for steam. Just please help me clear this up so I can get back to this game, thank you.
