I bought a $50 Uber Eats gift card from Walmart on July 2nd, [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with Walmart customer service, the card showed as already redeemed when gifted to my niece. Walmart declined returns, directing me back to Uber Eats. Uber Eats mentioned a Walmart refund process which led to a stalemate. I forwarded the receipt and the used gift card to Uber Eats, but my attempts to communicate have gone unanswered. The frustrating lack of customer service has left my money in limbo. Disappointed, I am now seeking a resolution and simply wish for the $50 card to be replaced. - G.W.

I recently ordered from Burger King and the delivery driver informed me that the item was no longer available, suggested canceling the order, and placing a new one. I tried to cancel on the app but couldn't, so I sought to chat with a live agent. However, upon requesting a live agent, the response stated the order was canceled with no refund. Despite chatting with multiple agents, none offered a refund or contacted the store directly for confirmation. I am considering legal action and will file a claim with my bank. This experience has left me disappointed and I will not use this app again. It's unacceptable for a customer to face this situation and be denied a refund for items they won't receive.

I recently ordered from Azim's restaurant, but I was extremely disappointed with two items in my order. I had requested a butter chicken, but received a chicken korma instead, where the chicken seemed overcooked and the sauce was thick unlike a traditional butter chicken. The other item, the chapel kebab, was disappointingly small and lacked meat, especially considering its price of £4. I believe these substitutions and quality issues are unacceptable, and I've documented the problems with photographs and a video. I am seeking a refund for these two items. Please advise me on the process for obtaining a refund. I can provide the video and photo evidence upon request.

I made a food order on Sunday and paid with my new debit card. After receiving my delivery, the driver asked for my debit PIN. I was skeptical but went outside to check on his Uber Eats app, which indeed requested the PIN. Despite encountering an error, the driver insisted he needed the PIN to continue working. We tried to troubleshoot but he suggested I venmo him the payment instead. I transferred the amount matching my food receipt. Upon reviewing my bank account, both the venmo and the charge went through. I suspect the driver took advantage of me, and I am seeking a refund, either from him or the company.

On August 24th, I placed an order from McDonald's using the Uber Eats app, but unfortunately, it was delivered to the wrong address. When I contacted Uber, I spoke with Charles Francis, who was very rude and unhelpful. He refused to retrieve my order from the incorrect address and bring it to me. His response when I asked about getting my order was dismissive. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, he argued with me and eventually hung up. I reported the incident to the McDonald's manager, who apologized for Charles's behavior and advised me to seek a full refund from you since I never received my order. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by Charles Francis during our interaction.

I canceled an order immediately after realizing the wrong payment method was used. I did not receive the typical first message confirming my order, nor did I receive the second message stating that my order was being prepared. I only noticed the charge when my account was overdrafted. Despite speaking to multiple representatives through chats, I received conflicting explanations. Two representatives claimed the order was already in progress when I canceled, while another said they had already received my order. I reiterated that I canceled the order within a second of placing it and did not receive any messages confirming the order.

Dear Uber Eats, I am a frequent user of your services and tonight I experienced a highly disappointing delivery. I ordered a costly Japanese meal at 5:40, which was picked up from the restaurant just after 6. Regrettably, the Uber delivery person spent an hour in Fremantle before arriving at my location at 7:10 with the food cold and spilt upon arrival. The miso soup had leaked through the bag as well. Additionally, the aburi fish was not in the best condition, being on its side after an hour, and the Japanese chicken curry was at room temperature. I encountered unprofessional behavior from the driver, Waleed, who placed blame on the restaurant instead of addressing the issues. This experience has left me utterly frustrated and dissatisfied. The expensive meal was ruined and unpleasant to eat. As a long-time Uber customer with many years of transactions, I am deeply disappointed with this new level of service. Bonjour, Je vous contacte au sujet de ma récente commande chez McDonald de la Blancarde, effectuée via le compte d'Ynes. J'ai initialement fait une réclamation concernant l'absence d'un menu dans ma commande. Pour résumer, dès le début de ma commande chez McDonald de la Blancarde, il y a eu une erreur d'étiquetage qui a confondu le livreur. Cela a entraîné des allers-retours entre une autre cliente et moi, provoquant un retard dans la livraison de ma commande, en plus de l'absence d'articles comme des nuggets (j'ai commandé 9 nuggets et en ai reçu seulement 4) et même un burger manquant. De plus, le filet-o-fish et les frites étaient en contact direct avec les boissons, mouillant ainsi ma commande qui est arrivée froide. Après avoir appelé directement le McDonald de la Blancarde, ils se sont déchargés de toute responsabilité et m'ont redirigé vers vous pour un remboursement. J'ai dû jeter ma commande car elle était immangeable. J'ai reçu un remboursement de 1,26 € sur ma commande, ce que je trouve inacceptable, étant bien en-dessous du prix d'un burger chez McDonald's. My order arrived earlier than expected and the driver was quite friendly. However, there were missing items - 2 ice cream ram sandwiches and some steak fingers. I inquired with the driver who explained that he couldn't return and suggested contacting Uber Eats for a refund and a new delivery. When I called the restaurant, they only offered for me to pick up the missing items, which is not feasible for me currently. This being my first time using a delivery service, I am disappointed despite the driver's kindness. I simply wish to receive what I paid for. Thank you for your help.

I received the incorrect evening shop delivery. I paid £35 for tobacco and provided my age to the delivery person. Unfortunately, I noticed the shop error after it was in my kitchen. Despite multiple complaints, I have not received any response. I've requested for the correct items I paid for to be delivered and the incorrect items to be collected. This situation is unacceptable. Last week, I underwent a major operation, so I don't need the added stress of resolving this issue. Kindly assist me by either providing a refund so I can purchase the items I need or by delivering my correct order as soon as possible.

I recently placed an order for takeaway from Doner Sizzler in Grays using Uber Eats and paid with PayPal. This was my first time ordering from Doner Sizzler. I called the restaurant immediately after placing my order to confirm they received it. They verified it over the phone. Unfortunately, my order never arrived. Upon contacting the restaurant, I was informed that the driver had returned without delivering the order due to a lack of address or phone number. Uber then canceled my order but still charged my PayPal account. The restaurant insists they prepared the food. Strangely, I wasn't prompted to provide a delivery address during the order since I paid with PayPal assuming my address was on file. When I called the restaurant initially, they didn't mention any issue with the address. I paid £26.12 for this order and would like a refund.

While driving home, I decided to order food for delivery. Unfortunately, I realized my delivery address was incorrect as soon as I made the order. When I tried to correct it, I received an error message that the new address was too far from the restaurant. I cancelled the order within a minute, but was still charged $44 for cancellation. The order was for two rice and chicken shawarma plates and a shawarma wrap. I find it unreasonable to be charged such a high fee for a cancellation made immediately after placing the order, especially since no preparation had been done yet. I feel this charge was unfair and it left me feeling deceived.

I need to raise a complaint regarding my recent order through the McDonald's app. On August 27, at 11:33 PM, I placed a McDelivery order which was supposed to be delivered via Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the order was never received. I contacted McDonald's for a refund, but they directed me to Uber Eats. When I reached out to Uber Eats, I was informed that due to 48 hours passing since the order, a refund couldn't be processed. This was surprising to me as I was unaware of this policy. I assumed a refund would be automatic since the delivery was unsuccessful despite my efforts to assist the driver in locating my address. The lack of transparency surrounding this refund policy is concerning and unfair to customers who are unaware of it. This experience has been distressing, and I urge for a review and possible revision of this policy. I kindly request a refund to be issued promptly to my card. Thank you. - Tony

I placed an order today at our local McDonald's but unfortunately, the delivery was missing several items: - 1 hamburger - 2 chicken sandwiches - 1 chicken wrap - 1 happy meal My partner initiated the process for missing items and submitted a picture of our incomplete order. We have tried reaching out to both McDonald's and the driver without success. After finally receiving a response, we were informed that no action would be taken to resolve the missing items. It is frustrating that we had to spend extra money on food for our children due to these errors. While mistakes can happen, this situation has become too frequent. We will not be using Uber Eats for future orders and will advise our friends and family to do the same.

Hello, I encountered an issue with order 4F163. On July 29 at 2:26 pm, I placed an order. By around 3:00 pm, the restaurant had prepared the order, and a delivery person was en route. However, after 10 minutes, the app indicated they were looking for a delivery person for my order. As my order had been sitting ready for a considerable time and it would have arrived excessively late, I requested to cancel. It is perplexing to be charged for a delayed order that ultimately would have been prepared for about an hour, arriving cold. Currently, my bank account has been debited twice - once on July 29 for €27.75 and again on August 1 for €23.50. I kindly request a prompt refund of these two charges. Thank you

Someone has used my credit card without authorization to order $1,[redacted].98 worth of food through Uber Eats. Despite my efforts to resolve this with Uber Eats, they have not been very helpful. I have contacted my bank, and they have confirmed the fraudulent activity and launched an investigation. I am outraged that Uber Eats is not cooperating and appears to be protecting the criminal involved. The name attached to the unauthorized transaction is "Regina," which is not familiar to me, and I demand a full refund from Uber Eats for their involvement in this criminal activity. I have closed the compromised credit card and hope that Uber Eats resolves this issue promptly and prosecutes those responsible.

I placed an order for delivery over an hour ago. A driver was assigned, and after 30 minutes, I reached out to ask when they would collect my delivery. The driver said it would be 20 more minutes, to which I thanked them and waited. However, after 15 more minutes, I checked the order tracking to find it saying they're still looking for a driver in my area. This has been the status for an hour now. I've tried to cancel the order through the app but couldn't find a way to do so. This experience is disappointing as I've always been satisfied with the service before. The communication from the driver, claiming they were coming, followed by this situation is not acceptable in my opinion.

I placed an order last night, order number #066EB. When reviewing the chat with the delivery driver, it's clear they went to the wrong address. Despite being far from my location, they requested my number. The delivery was significantly delayed, and they started a timer at the incorrect address, leading to a loss of contact as the timer expired. The driver did not try to call me. Now, the order shows as complete, but I never gave the pin as I never even met the driver. This issue has been raised through various channels without resolution. The driver's name was Hemangiben M. If this matter isn't resolved, I will not only avoid using your service in the future, but I will also inform others about the flaw in your pin system and how orders can be marked complete without obtaining the pin, which is a serious issue that needs to be addressed promptly.

I apologize for the delay in my response. I was cooking dinner later than expected due to the service I experienced. When I reached out while waiting for my order, I informed the representative that I would reject the order because it was ready 30 minutes before it arrived. The Uber driver was uncooperative when I tried to reach out to inquire about the delay. Despite being told there was traffic, I could see through the tracking system that there was none. The food was inedible as it had been waiting for too long, with soggy fries and cold burgers upon arrival. Although delays can happen, I do not expect such a long wait between the order being ready and delivered. I believe the driver should not have accepted the order early or waited at the restaurant for an extended period. I am requesting a full refund for the uneaten food as it was not consumable, and we had to prepare an alternative meal. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. I placed an order with Ihop through Uber Eats early on Saturday, September 1, [redacted]. When the delivery arrived, the driver handed me the bag and left. I ordered a Sirloin Steak tips & eggs breakfast, a side of breakfast potatoes, and a French Toast Breakfast, totaling $44. However, upon checking the bag, I found only one entrée - a stack of pancakes with 6 pancakes. I have the receipt with the timestamp "pick up 3:03 am", displaying the name Don L and phone number [redacted]. The Web Order number is #[redacted][redacted] and the ticket POS is #[redacted]. I would like an immediate refund as the Uber Eats driver failed to deliver my complete order.
