Hello, I'm Aaron and I've been experiencing issues with the app. Recently, I tried using a UberEats offer but faced difficulties changing my expired credit card, leading to app errors, password changes, and being locked out of my account. Despite regaining access after a few days, I still encountered problems trying to place orders with updated credit card information. Both the app and site displayed errors preventing successful orders, even when attempting with another credit card. Eventually, I had to resort to using my dad's phone and my mom's credit card to proceed. I submitted a complaint about a billing error regarding the promotional discount not being applied through your website form. Upon receiving an email instructing me to contact the restaurant regarding a meal or delivery issue, I want to clarify that there were no problems with either. The main concern is that UberEats failed to apply the $30 promotion code. The email address provided for Uber Support was [redacted] However, when attempting to reply, it indicated that my response did not originate from the same email address, which is incorrect as all correspondence was sent from [redacted] I kindly request that the promotion be honored and the charge be adjusted accordingly.

In response to the explanation received regarding the complaint about the promotion code [redacted] I received in my email [redacted], where I was informed of a €36 discount split into 3 orders of €12 each for this weekend. The requirement is to have received the email and place an order over €20, which can be verified, as I met it with my order today at McDonald's Getafe. If the conditions are not met for the €12 refund from the promotional code they sent me, it would be intentionally deceiving the customer by Uber Eats. I also want to inform you that I called customer service while placing the order to report that the €12 discount was not applied at the end of the payment process due to the code not being accepted. I was instructed to file a complaint after receiving the order, which I have done. This deception is troubling as it allows the order to proceed without the customer's consent and without solving the issue before the order is prepared. Therefore, I request a refund of €12 as I have shown that Uber Eats sent me the promotion, I met the requirements for my order, and I promptly reported the incident.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to request a refund for an order placed over the weekend. The customer service experience with UberEats and its delivery driver was extremely disappointing and frustrating. On Saturday, October 31st, [redacted], I ordered 6 subs from Fire House Subs. Upon realizing the delivery address was incorrect, I contacted the driver immediately to inquire about changing it. The driver, Rami, was unhelpful, stating he would check with Uber support but never followed up. Subsequently, I received a notification that my order was cancelled. Despite this, the driver, who had already collected the subs, refused to deliver them even to the original address and was rude during our interaction. After being unable to reach any working numbers provided by UberEats for assistance, we physically went to Fire House Subs to buy and collect our food. To my dismay, my credit card was still charged $[redacted].10 for the undelivered order. This experience was unacceptable and inconvenienced my family, causing us to be late for a scheduled event. After partnering with Uber Eats a few months ago, we unexpectedly received a new tablet. Even though our current tablet is in good condition and was unused over the summer, I want to clarify why this additional tablet was sent and ensure we were not billed for it. Despite my attempts to reach out to customer support about returning the extra device, I have not received a response yet.

Good afternoon, I made a purchase at Juicy King Crab Express on Friday, November 6th. After reviewing both the store receipt and the online Uber receipt, I noticed an extra charge of $7.40 on top of the food cost. These marked-up items are not standard practice. I placed an order with Taco Mac three days ago, and they charged $42 to my card. Unfortunately, I never received the food. I have been attempting to contact them since I provided my number ([redacted]), but it seems they are avoiding resolving this issue. My bank will refund the money, so they will have to handle it with them. This situation feels like theft, and I am frustrated with the lack of customer service skills displayed. When I cashed out, it showed my order was only $7 plus the $3.30 tip I gave them. However, checking my bank statement, I noticed I was charged $22.06 initially. Later, it charged me an additional $3.30 for the tip, totaling $25.36. I had used a promo code that seemed to cover the initial $22.06, but now I'm confused as to why I was charged $25.36. I expected the promo to deduct $30 from my order but it didn't work that way. This whole experience has left me upset and frustrated. My recent experience with Uber Eats was truly frustrating. Initially, the delivery was delayed due to the unavailability of a driver in the area. When the driver finally arrived, he seemed to have trouble navigating and locating my address accurately. Despite informing him of my location, he circled the neighborhood for an additional 25 minutes, causing unnecessary delays. It was exasperating to watch him repeatedly pass by my street without delivering the food promptly. This isn't the first time I've encountered issues with Uber Eats drivers' navigation skills, and I've decided to discontinue using their service. I am exploring alternative food delivery apps like Postmates for future orders.

Recently, I placed an order with your company. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was unsatisfactory. The driver behaved rudely and unprofessionally, delivering damaged and cold food. When he called, claiming to be at my front door when he was not, it led to an argument. After his delayed arrival, he waited in the street for me to come out instead of leaving the food at the door. The items were damaged, drinks leaked, and everything was cold, despite the short distance from the restaurant. I tried to complain through the app but was only advised to leave a review. I spent over £17 on a disappointing and cold meal, with delivery issues and unprofessional conduct from the driver, making my Uber Eats experience unpleasant. I am requesting a refund for the unsatisfactory meal.

I placed an order on Uber Eats at 8:30 PM for Bojangles using a promo code. The estimated delivery time was initially between 9:30 PM and 10:15 PM. However, the time has passed, and my order hasn't been picked up. Bojangles is closed, and I was unable to cancel my order without the risk of being charged and losing the promo deal. Waiting for two hours without any communication is unacceptable. I tried to reach Customer Support, which was extremely difficult. After searching for a working number online, I found out it was closed. I'm now left without dinner for my family, lost the promo code, and unable to cancel. I am having trouble confirming my order with the store that is closed. They are not answering the phone, and I followed the instructions on the UberEats app, but I cannot find the cancel button on my smartphone. I tried on my computer and two different smartphones. It is clear I cannot receive my order as they used to be open 24 hours but seem to be closing earlier now. I am very dissatisfied with UberEats, and I might not use it again. For lunch today, I ordered from Popeyes, which was open when I called, but the app said they were closed after I submitted the order, leading to its cancellation. With these two issues in one day, I have no one to contact regarding this matter and no way to cancel my order. I assume it will cancel itself since the store didn't accept the order. On October 3rd, I tried to place an order on the app. Unfortunately, as I reached the final step, I received a message that the vendor was no longer accepting orders. I closed the app and later received a call from a delivery person, but I had not confirmed my order and was no longer at the location. The store confirmed they had not processed any order under my name. Despite this, my credit card was charged $[redacted].87. I am seeking a prompt refund as I never received the order. The order number is #9F18E. I have tried to contact customer service over the phone, but it seems they are unavailable due to COVID restrictions.

I specified in the delivery instructions for the driver to bring the order directly to my door and not leave it downstairs at the Doorman station. However, when I was about to pay for the order, it appeared that my instructions were no longer there. I really need the delivery to come straight to my door, as it defeats the purpose if I have to go downstairs to collect it. I need to ensure that the delivery person comes upstairs. Unfortunately, I can't find a customer service number, which is quite frustrating, especially since my food is expected to arrive in the next 15 minutes.

I received a $25 discount offer for my first order with the code UEATUS11. Unfortunately, the store delivered to the wrong address initially, and after trying to correct it, they directed me to contact UberEats to cancel. When I called, I could only reach a recording instructing me to use the app, which I found confusing given my age of 72. Attempting to cancel through the app revealed a $14 cancellation fee, which was frustrating as there was no option to speak to a live person for help. The promo code UEATUS11 was supposed to be valid until 11/15/20, and as today is 11/11/20, it should have worked. I had an issue while placing an order with Wawa. After clicking the order button, an error message appeared, stating I hadn't paid and to try another account. Despite having enough funds to cover the $20.99 cost, my bank notified me of a charge for the same amount from UBEREATS on 11/12/20 at 1:00 am. The Wawa app still prompts me to pay, preventing me from tracking my order or placing a new one due to the deduction by UBEREATS. I am frustrated by this situation and demand a refund. Instances of drivers delivering to incorrect addresses coupled with this payment issue have left me extremely upset. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter and am considering discontinuing my use of this app, even though I am a driver myself.

I am trying to reach out for help regarding a recent frustrating experience with a £37 order I placed for my children's dinner. The delivery driver did not attempt to call me, and when I messaged them to inquire about the food, I was ignored for several minutes. Despite providing the correct address multiple times for my high-rise flat with a buzzer entry, the driver claimed I had given the wrong address and was dismissive. Afterwards, UberEats falsely stated that the driver tried to contact me and waited, which was not true.
