I have sent a few e mails trying to get my money refunded. I had a $** offer off my order from Uber Eats. I tried placing an order from my computer but had some problems so I called customer service. The rep said that I had to download the app to my phone and explained the process. I asked her to please stay on with me until the order went through but she would not. She told me though that I would have to create a password and put a form of payment to have on my account and then when I click to place the order I would have the option to enter the coupon code. Instead as soon as I clicked place my order I got a receipt from the restaurant-how did they have my information. I have no idea. This was the first time I ever placed an order. In addition I did not have the opportunity to enter my code. I tried calling the customer service number back but the recording said that at this time no one is available to take calls. It said to go to the help section on the app. But there was nothing there to help me at once. Also when I had spoken to the rep she told me if I had a problem placing the order I should just call back and someone would help me-a lot of good that did when no one was available. I tried calling the restaurant to cancel the order and they said everything had to be done through uber eats.*What kind of service is this that no one is available to help?*So afterwards I finally saw a section on your website to send an issue to be corrected. A lot of good that does when I got this silly reply saying nothing and not helping at all*I even put my phone number in the e mail since no one at your end deems it necessary to help customers*I am going to see if I can copy and paste the letter I received as a reply which to top it all off besides for not helping me has on top - this letter does not need a reply-*If my issue would have been resolved I would still send a thank you acknowledgment*Please make sure this gets taken care of satisfactorily or sent to someone in your corporation who can help*My number is *** *** ****.
