Two days ago, I purchased a $50 e-gift card from Uber Eats. Unfortunately, upon trying to set up the card to place food orders, the code provided to me upon purchase is not working. Despite multiple attempts and calls to customer service for assistance, I have been unable to resolve the issue. Most of the representatives I spoke to had difficulties with English, leading to my frustration and inability to find a solution. I was asked to send a screenshot of the error message, which proved challenging as I only have a cell phone and not a computer. Despite my efforts, I have not received the help needed to resolve the problem after five failed attempts. At this point, I am requesting a refund of my $50 as I am on a tight budget and need the money. The promo code provided to prove my purchase is L18G J835 [redacted]. I recently downloaded the app and created an account. I had a $15 voucher for my order, which I applied successfully. While placing my order from a nearby restaurant, Rashays, I noticed a free delivery offer for a limited time. After making my selection for $15, I entered my PayPal details. I encountered an issue regarding the free delivery timing, but after retrying, I received another four-minute free delivery offer. Despite this, I faced a problem with payment processing as $1 was deducted from my account twice. I have confirmed that my payment methods work fine with other purchases today. I suspect there might be a glitch in my account. I kindly request a refund of the $3 and the deletion of my current account so I can create a new one. Additionally, could you please provide me with the contact number for Uber Eats Sydney? I was only able to find one for Uber drivers. Thank you.

I am experiencing unauthorized deductions from my bank account by Uber Eats, which customer service was unable to clarify. Their representative mentioned these deductions were for tips collected. Despite being reversed later, I was previously charged for both food and tips. This situation is unacceptable. If I do not receive a satisfactory explanation, I will discontinue using the service. Dismissing this as a tip-related issue is inadequate, as the amounts involved exceed a customary tip. I will meticulously review my bank statements and find it disappointing to have to take this precaution. Going forward, I suggest Uber Eats promptly notifies customers of any errors affecting their financial accounts.

We placed an order with Sonic at 6:00 PM, expecting it to arrive within 45 minutes. The app initially indicated that the order was close to being delivered on time but then reset, showing the driver was just heading out to collect our food at 7:30 PM, 45 minutes past the latest delivery time provided by Uber Eats. Waiting until 7:45, the app indicated the driver was near, yet after attempting to contact them with no response, we received a notification that our order had been canceled. Struggling with an injury and illness, we relied on this meal from Uber Eats, but not only did it not arrive, the pending charge on our account left us without funds for alternative food until tomorrow afternoon. As individuals facing financial difficulty due to health issues, we are disappointed by this experience and hope Uber Eats addresses the situation promptly to prevent negative reputation repercussions among social media and local community networks. It's disheartening when companies neglect the well-being of those in need.

I called twice and was hung up on once, being told I couldn't be helped. I am seeking a refund for a charge on my card for a canceled order we didn't want to cancel. On my account, it shows the Carrabas order was canceled on 1/15 at 6 pm, and then at the same time and date, the order was processed. We did not want to cancel our order. We were charged for the canceled order we didn't want to cancel and the order we did want. I don't understand why no one can assist with this situation. We are not seeking a refund for bad food, but for a charge we did not authorize. We loved the food and never wanted to cancel our order. We are requesting a refund for the canceled order we did not want to cancel. We ordered again at the same time and date. We should not be charged for a canceled order we wanted. Please, I am begging for assistance with refunding our card for the canceled order. We loved the food and never wanted to cancel the order. We were charged $45 and then $37.61 for a canceled order. This situation is unfair. I hope someone can help me with this.

I have been unable to access my account for more than 2 years. Upon logging back in, UBEREATS indicates that I have outstanding charges, which I find confusing. When I place orders, my payment method is always charged. This issue has persisted for 3 years, and I refuse to pay for services I have already settled. I am facing difficulties ordering due to being repeatedly billed for meals I have already paid for. The recent balance displayed was $35, but upon reviewing past transactions spanning over 2-3 years, the amount spiked to over $50. I am usually not one to use strong language, but I am greatly frustrated by this situation. I just want to order food for my family without obstacles. This issue needs urgent resolution.

I placed an order on the McDonald's app for Chingford and fell asleep, missing the delivery driver's calls because my phone was on silent. When my son woke me, we discovered the driver had marked the first delivery as complete even though we hadn't received it. I placed the order again and the same driver arrived but had trouble finding our address. I had to guide him to the correct location at 22 Stanley Road E4 7DB as the map led him to a different street. When my son received the food, he asked about the previous order, and the driver admitted to throwing it away because he couldn't reach me on the phone. I am requesting a refund for the original meal that had to be re-ordered. Thank you.

I had an issue with my Uber Eats delivery. The driver went to the wrong address and asked for more money to deliver my food. This made me feel unsafe. I don't think this is a legal business practice. I never got my order, so I would like a refund. Thank you.

I placed an order at Nando's Browns Plains on 10/01/20 around 9:20 p.m. The order was confirmed and on its way, but unfortunately, it was later canceled because the Uber driver couldn't find my house. The order amounted to approximately $60.00, and I have not received a refund until now. I am disappointed that the driver, Vishal, did not attempt to call me for directions to my house on Parkland Avenue, Browns Plains. Instead of reaching out for assistance, he simply canceled the order and left. This lack of professionalism is concerning. I urge for a refund to be processed promptly for the canceled order with the order number C45F5. Additionally, I believe action should be taken to address this issue with the driver's behavior.

Firstly, the food took over an hour to be delivered. It was evident that there were issues finding a driver, but when the delivery was made, the person circled the house multiple times before a man came on his bike to finally deliver the cold food. I am highly disappointed as the food was inedible and had to be thrown away. I request a refund of £14 for this unacceptable service. It is frustrating to know that despite the delays, the food arrived ice-cold, indicating a lack of care in handling these situations.

I ordered from Georgios last night and received my food around 10:40 PM. Initially, everything seemed fine as I rated my delivery and food on the app. However, while eating, I discovered raw dough in my calzone. I was disappointed with UberEats' generic response acknowledging the food quality issue without addressing the undercooked food properly. I even reached out to the food safety option but haven't heard back yet. Moving forward, I'll wait to rate my food until I finish it entirely. I was unaware of how to contact UberEats for immediate assistance, as once the delivery is made, the app seems to require waiting for a response without offering direct contact options.

My Uber Eats order with the Order number C8C92 has been quite a frustrating experience. Initially set for delivery between 6:30-7 pm, the time kept changing. The driver picked up the order at 6:14 pm and proceeded in the wrong direction. After contacting the driver, we discovered he had another stop before ours and even needed to grab food himself. This behavior was concerning, especially as he claimed not to know the destination when accepting deliveries. Our food finally arrived around 7:38 pm, much later than expected. When my husband confronted the driver, he encountered defensiveness instead of an apology. We are requesting a partial refund and hope for better driver training in the future to prioritize timely deliveries and customer service. Thank you.

Hello, I would like to file a formal complaint regarding Order #: 01F92. Not because I am seeking a refund, but because the service I received was extremely poor. This experience with UBER EATS was my first and will be my last. When I clicked on the help option within the specified timeframe, I was presented with a series of repetitive questions that I had already answered. This felt like a deliberate tactic to extend the timeframe, which was frustrating. As I mentioned earlier, my entire order was incorrect. I had to personally visit the local McDonald's to obtain the correct items. The staff acknowledged the mistake, explaining that they had duplicated the order. I ended up paying more and still had to collect the correct food locally. When I reached out to support, they repeatedly inquired about the missing items, despite me stating that "everything" was incorrect from the order. Improvements are needed in your service. I placed an order this evening (Order 8829E), but upon delivery, I noticed that items were missing. Specifically, a 20 piece order of nuggets and the corresponding sauce. With five hungry kids, the missing sauce rendered the nuggets useless as they typically eat them with it. I contacted customer service and was only offered $5 for the missing sauce, which I find unacceptable. Just receiving part of an item is not the same as receiving the complete order. If I ordered a sausage pizza but got cheese instead, I wouldn't just ask for compensation for the missing topping as it's not what I ordered. The missing items affected my family dinner, despite the great delivery service I received. I requested a refund for both the missing 20 piece nuggets and the sauceless nuggets I did receive, but I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. Good customer service is crucial, especially when paying a service fee. I hope to receive a fair refund for this inconvenience. Thank you for your attention.

I am inquiring about a refund for a recent McDonald's meal I ordered. The meal total was $32, and despite the estimated delivery time being between 12:05 and 12:30 am, the delivery was continuously delayed. I attempted to cancel the order, but was surprised to see a $24 cancel fee, especially since no driver had accepted the order yet. Yesterday, I received an Uber Eats delivery that was completely wrong from Sonic. After contacting Uber Eats support, I was promised a full refund for the order. However, today on January 25th, [redacted], I took an Uber ride and was unexpectedly charged an outstanding balance of $26.98. This charge depleted the funds I had set aside for transportation, leaving me stranded as I couldn't afford the ride back home. The total deductions from my card ended up being over $40. I am now facing a three to four day wait to get my money back. I kindly request assistance in reversing these transactions as soon as possible. Hello, I’ve been attempting to reach out for the last two days, submitting multiple reports via the app and also reaching out on Twitter without receiving any responses. The problem arose when I placed an order two days ago, and the app provided the courier with an incorrect address. Upon discovering the error, I offered to pick up the food, but the courier declined and assured delivery within 2-3 hours, promising to provide an update. My mom is currently in China and unable to access her emails. During the call with a representative, we discovered that she never made any purchases on the Ubereats app, yet her Mastercard was charged twice on Jan. 29th, [redacted], under "UBER EATS HELP.UBER.CO". I'm concerned about how this occurred and if her card information is compromised. Is there a way to obtain a refund for these charges?
