I placed an order at De Marco’s sandwich shop around 5:47 pm. I was informed that my food would arrive by 6:30 pm at the latest, waiting for quite some time. When I checked the map, I saw the Uber driver was close by, but he ended up passing my location and driving in circles, prolonging the delivery time. My food finally arrived at 6:42 pm, cold and delayed. I was upset by the experience and hope for a refund if feasible. Thank you.

I placed an order for a meal priced at $22.36 at 5pm on September 8. I opted to use my Uber credits gift card for payment, but although it indicated the credits were applying, the money was deducted from my credit card instead. I was hoping to rectify this by receiving a refund to the credit card and having the amount charged to the gift card as intended. I placed an order through the app and selected a delivery time. Unfortunately, I was only informed that my order was canceled a minute after the scheduled delivery time. This situation put me in a difficult spot as it's Sunday and many places close early. I believe there needs to be better communication to prevent such disappointments. It would be fair to receive a discount or compensation for the inconvenience caused. This way, I could have ordered from another place without having to wait around for hours.

Hello, we ordered food at 8:05 through UberEATS, and the webpage estimated delivery by 8:55. Currently, it's 9:20, and the store closes at 9:30. No one has picked up our order, and when attempting to cancel, we were informed of a $20+ charge. Ultimately, we had to collect the meal ourselves. We are seeking reimbursement for the delivery fees as we had to self-collect the order.

I ordered a roll yesterday from Uber Eats as usual. However, this time it took over 40 minutes to arrive, which is longer than usual. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived after 49 minutes, the food was cold and didn't taste good. I usually enjoy Chowranghee Lane rolls, but this time the quality was lacking. Waiting over 40 minutes for a disappointing meal was quite disappointing.

Hello, I attempted to order ramen from Wagamama on Friday, September 6th. Unfortunately, despite trying twice, the website did not confirm the orders, and I did not receive any email confirmation. After waiting for thirty minutes, I attempted again and the order went through successfully. When I received my order, everything was accurate. However, I recently reviewed my bank account and noticed that UberEats charged me for the failed orders as well. How can I get a refund for the duplicate charges?

On Saturday night, someone hacked my account and placed an order at a takeaway shop, causing confusion when they called me to confirm the order I did not make. Despite canceling the unauthorized order, £51 was still deducted from my account. I am shocked at how easy it is for hackers to breach UberEats accounts. I am deeply upset and angry about this incident and urgently request a full refund. I possess all the relevant details including the order number, takeaway information, and timestamps. I have attempted to seek help via the app's helpline but feel ignored. Please address this matter promptly.

I've used Uber Eats multiple times, and my last two orders were incorrect. I find this very unacceptable because I paid for these items and did not receive them. It's frustrating enough when the food arrives cold, but getting the wrong order two times in a row is not acceptable. In my recent order, I had requested a large 6-piece chicken nugget meal with a chocolate milkshake and a small chips, but I only received the small chips and 6 chicken nuggets; my large chips and milkshake were missing. I've been charged on my card for these missing items too many times now. I hope this issue can be addressed and resolved promptly.

Yesterday, I placed an order with McDonald's on Graham Rd. in Cuy Falls. Unfortunately, my meal was incomplete. I had ordered a bacon Big Mac meal, a baker's dozen of chocolate chip cookies, and a sweet tea, all of which were supposed to be included. I typically receive great service, but yesterday the driver was not the one indicated. I'm unsure what happened to my order but I am very disappointed. I am a frequent user of your service, but I am now considering looking for an alternative provider.

I placed an order for a burger meal from Burger 57 Wakad. My order ID is #87D59. I contacted the driver and provided the correct address. Unfortunately, after an hour of waiting, the driver canceled my order just as he arrived near my place. I observed him canceling right in front of me. Now, I am experiencing difficulties getting a refund. I am very disappointed with the service provided by Uber Eats. Their customer support is inadequate. I am just hoping to receive my refund promptly.

Due to an issue with the app interface, I mistakenly ordered Paneer Butter Masala. I immediately contacted customer support and spoke with Mr. Geetansh, requesting to cancel the order. Despite my efforts, the restaurant had already started preparing the meal, and Geetansh mentioned I could either proceed with the order or cancel it with charges. I inquired about applying a coupon, but he declined. After a lengthy conversation, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Unfortunately, the call got disconnected after 16 minutes. Upon calling back, Mr. Sanju assisted me in reaching a senior team member after an additional 8 minutes. During this time, the delivery driver contacted me. I asked him to wait while I discussed the situation with the senior staff. Despite the options presented by the senior team member, I insisted on applying a coupon before finally having the order canceled as I was unwilling to pay for uneaten food. I'm left wondering why the cancellation option has a time limit, the prolonged process to escalate the issue, the insistence on payment for an unwanted order, and the pressure to reconsider using the service in the future.

We ordered soup and Thai food. Unfortunately, the food arrived only warm, and both soups spilled in the bag. It's our first time using Uber Eats, and we were very disappointed. Sadly, we had almost no soup left for the noodles, and we were left hungry. We expected Uber Eats to be better than Skip the Dishes, but it seems they are the same or even worse. It's frustrating that delivery companies care more about money than customer satisfaction. We are still hungry and upset. I would like a refund for this unsatisfactory experience. I will not recommend Uber Eats to anyone and will share our bad experience with friends, along with the pictures we took.

I had a negative experience with Uber Eats. I placed an order to my current location, but the delivery ended up on a different street despite me providing the correct address. The driver advised service termination, which made me feel frustrated. I added an extra tip and waited for 30 minutes, but the driver never arrived. Contacting Uber Eats support was unhelpful as the order never reached me, even though they claimed it did. After waiting for 40 minutes, I remain unsatisfied. I demand a full refund for my $14 order, where I also tipped generously, totaling $30 without receiving my food. I only seek a refund. Thank you.

I placed an order tonight for a Shrimp Basket at 9:14. The order included a cup of corn and crab soup, a small Caesar salad, and a fried catfish basket, totaling $31.13. Despite tracking my order, there were issues with multiple drivers picking it up. Ultimately, the initial driver, Terry (female in a blue Chevy Cruze), took the food. This left me upset and hungry, especially being pregnant and on a long shift. Due to the situation, I only received the catfish basket. I request a refund for the full amount and hope for appropriate action regarding the driver. While disappointed, my subsequent order for the catfish basket arrived correctly. I placed an order with Steak n Shake at 2:50 AM yesterday, with the latest arrival time set for 4:05 AM. Despite waiting until around 4:15 AM, the app still indicated that the order was "preparing," not yet even picked up. After calling customer support, I was informed the food would be picked up within 10 minutes, but it actually took an additional 20 minutes. In total, the wait spanned about 2 hours resulting in cold and soggy food upon delivery, with half of my order missing. Subsequently, only half of my order was delivered, which was disappointing and unsatisfactory. The lack of communication regarding the missing items was frustrating, and the overall experience was marred by the lengthy wait times and subpar food quality.

I recently placed an order but due to working on the go, it was sent to the wrong address. I noticed this immediately and tried to update it on the app at 9:42, shortly after the order was placed around 9:37. The estimated delivery time was 10 am. Despite my efforts on the app, I couldn't correct the address. As the delivery time neared, I sought a contact number, only to discover Uber Eats lacks one, which is disappointing. The food was delivered to a different address, causing distress to sick and elderly individuals residing there. The app merely prompts surveys without addressing urgent issues. This service approach fails to prioritize customer needs. I am requesting an immediate resolution and a full refund. Failure to address this will lead me to escalate the matter, resulting in discontinuing the use of Uber Eats due to this unacceptable experience.

On September 15, [redacted], a charge of R77.90 (South African Rand) was deducted from my account, even though I did not make a purchase through Uber Eats that day. I am currently not in a location where Uber Eats operates, such as Mthatha, EC. Additionally, I did not receive the usual email notification from Uber regarding this transaction. This unexpected charge has had a significant impact on my finances, as you can see from my bank balance. I have contacted my bank, Capitec, and they advised me to reach out to Uber Eats directly. I would like to submit two screenshots for your review: an SMS notification of the transaction and my bank statement. I kindly request that this matter be thoroughly investigated. I want to express my disappointment with the poor service I received from both the driver and the support team. During a phone call, I was abruptly disconnected while trying to resolve an address error on my order. I was seeking assistance with updating the delivery address, but encountered unhelpful responses. Now, I am left feeling frustrated and hungry, having been charged without the issue being resolved. I am looking for a way to contact the department that handles address changes for ongoing orders as I urgently need this matter addressed.

I experienced a problem ordering from Winghouse. After encountering an error message, I tried to place my order again, but it failed to go through. No order number was provided. I decided to order from Hooters instead, where the process was smooth, and I quickly received an order number. Suddenly, Winghouse notified me they were preparing my food, and later provided an order number. Feeling misled, I canceled the Winghouse order. Now, I am wrongly charged for both orders. Customer service at Winghouse was unhelpful and rude, claiming they couldn't assist me and abruptly ending the call. I find this unprofessional and insist on a refund from Winghouse. Their delay in notifying me of the order status led to this situation.
