I placed my order #A6337 on Friday, August 15, [redacted], at 2:50 pm with an expected delivery time of 3:05 pm. The delivery person, Umesh, with bike number MH20EW6958, was prompt, but he refused to come to the exact location specified in the order. Despite providing clear instructions with "Bhoiyte nivas" in the address, he insisted I collect the order from his location. After refusing to come to the designated address, he abruptly canceled the order when I insisted. This kind of unprofessional and unacceptable behavior is disappointing.

I had a disappointing experience today with Uber Eats. I ordered two separate meals, both missing chips and drinks. The burgers I ordered had mustard and mayo despite my request for them without those toppings. Waiting for the delivery during my lunch break, I had to track down the food myself with the unhelpful delivery person hanging up on me. Unfortunately, all the food was disliked and wasted. I spent £60 on food along with a £5 delivery fee, and to make matters worse, the delivery was poorly handled, resulting in cold food and melted desserts. I am requesting a full refund given the circumstances. Thank you. Trinity.

I've had a recurring issue with Uber Eats. On three separate occasions, I've placed an order, seen it accepted and prepared, only to have it suddenly canceled by Uber without explanation. Yesterday, I waited nearly 2 hours for a pizza delivery. The app showed a driver named Luis en route to pick up the order, but after 45 minutes with no delivery, the app just displayed a past order with no details. I received no cancellation notification. I had to contact the pizza place to learn Uber had canceled the order nearly 1.5 hours after it was placed. Cancelling orders after so much time has passed since acceptance should require notification, whether by email, text, or call.

Today, I used Ubee cab for my ride. Initially, I requested to go to Terminal 3, but the driver rerouted me somewhere else. The fare started at [redacted], but upon amending the destination, it increased to [redacted], which was unexpected. At the airport, the driver, Gajender, insisted on additional charges for UP and Delhi tax, parking, toll tax totaling [redacted] rupees, despite no waiting time or toll tax during the journey. This is not in line with your terms and conditions. I would appreciate a response clarifying these charges or will consider filing a complaint.

Hello Team, I am reaching out regarding a recent experience I had with one of your Uber Eats delivery personnel, Ashok Kumar Jena. Today, I placed an order for Rs. [redacted] and attempted to pay using Google Pay. Despite the initial transaction failing, I retried and successfully completed the payment. Ashok Kumar Jena left, and moments later, the first transaction went through. I tried contacting him to refund the unintentional double payment, but his phone was switched off. My bank confirmed the successful transaction and advised me to contact Uber Eats to resolve the issue. The details of the transactions are as follows: Delivery Personnel Name: Ashok Kumar Jena Employee Phone Number: [redacted]0 (Ashok Kumar Jena) Transaction ID: [redacted]69 Date: 16th Aug [redacted] Amount: [redacted] I kindly request your assistance in refunding the duplicate payment as I trust your services. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I may need to escalate it through social media to ensure a resolution. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you, Ranjan

I encountered an issue with my Uber Eats order today. After my first payment via Google Pay failed, I tried again and successfully paid Rs. [redacted] to your delivery person, Ashok Kumar Jena (phone: [redacted]). Subsequently, the initial transaction went through, leading me to attempt to reach Ashok for a refund, only to find his phone switched off. Upon contacting my bank, I was advised to seek assistance from Uber Eats, prompting this message. I kindly request your help in refunding the duplicate payment made for a single order due to this technical glitch. Ashok Kumar Jena is unresponsive, compounding the situation. Details: Delivery person: Ashok Kumar Jena Mobile: [redacted] Transaction ID: [redacted]69 Amount: Rs. [redacted] Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted] I hope for a prompt resolution to this situation, as the experience with the Uber Eats delivery service has been unsatisfactory in this instance. A few weeks back, I received an email mentioning the code ‘GRAFTME’ for free delivery until the following Sunday. When I tried to use it on Saturday, I couldn’t apply it to my order. I had two frustrating conversations in the app, with the first person stating I wasn't eligible despite receiving the email. Even after proving my eligibility twice, I was refused a refund. The second person seemed more understanding but transferred my case without any follow-up in two weeks. Working in customer service, I know the impact of poor service and the importance of politeness. I simply want to understand why my code wasn't accepted, not seeking a refund but clarity on the situation. I hope to receive some answers soon. Regards, Izzy

I ordered Death by Chocolate ice cream today (17-08-[redacted]) from Polar Bear Sarjapur Road through Uber Eats. Upon receiving the food a few minutes ago, I noticed that the ice cream was stale and had a strange smell coming from the brownie. I couldn't take more than one spoonful and had to throw it away. The ice cream didn't have nuts as advertised, and the quantity was less than usual. When I opened the order, I realized the nuts were missing, and the quantity was inadequate. Despite trying to eat it without complaining, the quality was so poor that I couldn't even have a second spoonful. This was the worst ice cream I've ever experienced. I paid over [redacted] rupees for this, so I would like a refund. My order number is #14D46, the delivery person's name is Sagar, and my address is Sri Lakshmi Ladies PG, opposite RGA Tech Park, Caramelaram, Sarjapur Road, [redacted] Bengaluru. Thank you, Haritha

Uber Eats informed us that our order was canceled because the courier couldn't reach us, stating we owe [redacted].50 rupees. However, the delivery from Moussestruck was completed, and we paid the courier [redacted] rupees, which included a tip. We have the receipt as proof of payment. Our main issue arose when we needed an Uber to get to the international airport. Despite trying to contact Uber Eats for assistance, we received no response. Consequently, we had to pay for the ride again to book an Uber. Unfortunately, the Uber was scheduled an hour earlier than needed, creating chaos as we were still packing. Despite trying to communicate with the driver, who spoke no English, we ended up paying an extra [redacted] rupees for him to wait while we hastily finished packing our bags.

I received a personal email inviting me to download the UberEats app with a £10 discount promo code. Unfortunately, when I tried to use the code, I was informed that I was not eligible. Upon contacting customer service, they explained that the promo was not meant for all customers, and they offered apologies without providing a new code or any credit. I expressed my disappointment, questioning why I was sent the code if it wasn't applicable to me. The customer service agent mentioned they couldn't offer credit or promotions and failed to address my concerns satisfactorily. I requested to speak to a manager but only received a brief greeting with no further assistance. Despite multiple attempts over two days, I have yet to receive a resolution. This experience has left me feeling frustrated due to the lack of transparency and unfulfilled promises from UberEats.

I made a purchase of a £51.60 meal from "The Best" Chinese through Uber Eats at Chingford Mount. Unfortunately, I accidentally sent the delivery to an old address. Upon contacting the restaurant directly, I was informed that they couldn't assist and advised me to contact Uber instead. I attempted to change the delivery address through Uber's help service, but was instructed to reach out to the delivery driver, who was on a bike and unreachable. As a struggling student, losing £50 on a meal I didn't receive is a significant hit, especially considering the unhelpful attitude of the Chinese restaurant's customer service. I promptly tried to resolve the issue but received no assistance. As a loyal user of Uber's services, I kindly request a refund for this order. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I encountered issues at the Bulwell Nottingham branch of McDonald's with Uber Eats. I contacted Uber Eats because I received the wrong order and not mine. I have saved all the messages exchanged. Additionally, I reached out to McDonald's due to my dissatisfaction with Uber's service. I am seeking assistance via email to share the response received from Uber. I believe the way this was handled qualifies as financial abuse as I did not receive a refund. This has occurred multiple times, and I have photographic evidence. I also informed the driver once, who advised me to contact Uber for a refund, which never materialized. I feel my value as a customer has been disregarded. I have informed my support worker of this situation, who acknowledged it as financial abuse. It is crucial that awareness is raised, and these issues get addressed promptly. I'm looking forward to a response to address this matter. Thank you for your attention to this concern.

On March 12th, I placed orders with two restaurants, Phat Burgers and Bionic Burger in Wichita, Kansas. Unfortunately, Phat Burgers did not have the food to prepare my order. Shortly after, an Uber Eats driver had trouble finding my location for the Bionic Burger order and canceled it without contacting me. Uber Eats refunded me the money, which was great, but later that same day, charges of $21.49 and $10.90 were deducted from my card. I contacted my bank, but they advised me to resolve the issue directly with Uber Eats. Uber Eats mentioned they had already credited me once and couldn't issue another refund. While I understand that, the charges were taken from my card on the same day that I was initially refunded. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

To whom it may concern, Concerning an order placed by my son, Joey U. at [redacted], I wanted to bring to your attention an issue we encountered. It looks like there was a problem with the delivery address defaulting to a previous location (an airBNB) instead of our Chicago residence. Despite his efforts to correct this promptly, the restaurant couldn't deliver the food as it was believed to be outside the delivery zone, leading to an unsuccessful delivery but a charge of $32.73. We reached out to your customer service but were informed that no action could be taken. I kindly request your assistance in authorizing a refund, as the food was never received due to this address mishap. Resolving this matter promptly would not only be appreciated but also benefit your business relationship with a loyal customer. If left unresolved, it may lead to losing Joey's future patronage along with that of his friends who frequently use Uber Eats. Thank you for looking into this at your earliest convenience.

Hello Uber, I wanted to share our experience as Rice N Fish, a seafood restaurant in Kochi, Kerala, India. We value our customers' satisfaction and aim to provide top-notch service. We recently tried to sign up with Uber Eats again after initially joining and later switching to a different platform due to unmet promises. As a business, partnering with Uber Eats is crucial for our sustainability. However, during the sign-up process, we were informed that it would take around a month before going live. We are concerned about this delay and would appreciate clarification on the matter. We believe that fostering good partnerships is key for success, just like prioritizing customer needs. We hope Uber will address our concerns promptly, as we are eager to collaborate once more. Looking forward to a positive response soon. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

I placed an order for breakfast this morning for my daughter and me, but it never arrived. After indicating on the app that the order was missing, I was directed to contact customer service. Upon calling, I spoke with Paul who was unhelpful and rude, quickly issuing a refund without authorization. After requesting to speak to a manager, I was met with similar arrogance from Jessie, who dismissed my concerns. This experience was frustrating, as my order was not delivered due to the driver's negligence, and now I am left waiting for a refund to reorder. This recurring issue with delivery and customer service is concerning, as many of my acquaintances have faced similar problems. It is disappointing to encounter such poor service and lack of accountability when trying to resolve an issue that could have been easily remedied with a credit. This experience has left me unsatisfied and hesitant to use your service in the future.

I made an order at 11:57 am from Chickpea foodtruck at [redacted] West Cordova St., about 1 km from my location. The estimated delivery time was 12:25 pm with the latest delivery by 12:45 pm. Unfortunately, my order was only delivered at 1:40 pm, almost an hour later than the latest arrival time. Upon checking the map, I noticed that the driver assigned to my order was coming from Burnaby, resulting in the significant delay. The driver was courteous and helpful, and I understand this was likely beyond his control. Perhaps if a closer driver had been matched, this delay could have been prevented. As a regular Ubereats customer, I usually find the service satisfactory compared to others, but this experience was disappointing. I kindly request a credit for my next order. Thank you, Rosalind

On Thursday, August 22, [redacted], I placed an order with McDonald's. When it was ready, I arranged for a driver to pick it up. However, the driver was delayed at a Wingstop parking lot for over 25 minutes, then drove around for another 15 minutes before delivering my food. I contacted Uber Eats support, but they couldn't assist while the order was ongoing. They recommended canceling, but I refused. This has occurred more than 5 times with no resolution. If this isn't addressed, I will consider legal action against Uber Eats. I am requesting credits or some form of compensation for these lengthy delays. The driver's unprofessional behavior, the lengthy wait, and my cold order have left me extremely unsatisfied. Setting a 40-50 minute timer and watching it tick by slowly is frustrating, and in my case, the uncertainty of when it will end is unacceptable.

I ordered food from a restaurant on August 2nd and selected cash on delivery. The total was Rs 84.60, and I rounded it up to Rs 85. When the delivery person arrived, I gave him Rs [redacted], but he had no change. Per his request, I tried to pay via Google Pay, but the transaction failed twice. Eventually, I gave him the Rs [redacted]. Later, I received a notification that Rs 85 was debited from my Google Pay account for the failed transaction which ended up being processed by August 6th or 7th. Consequently, the delivery person received Rs 85 in cash and another Rs 85 through Google Pay. Despite discussing this with him and requesting the extra amount back, he has not returned it and now ignores my calls.

For under $40, I experienced some frustrating issues with UBEREATS. I recently encountered concerning practices employed by UBEREATS, and I am hopeful that the Attorney General will take action to address these matters in Florida. While $40 may seem insignificant individually, the cumulative impact suggests a potentially deceptive pattern that warrants scrutiny. When UBEREATS utilizes pre-written responses, they must ensure customers have not documented changes and timestamps through screenshots. It is misleading to falsify timing, a practice that fails to align with transparency. I am disappointed by the inconvenience caused by UBEREATS. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the resolution provided by the customer service representative who ultimately processed the refund for the erroneous charge. UBEREATS should prioritize ethical conduct from the onset. In my view, UBEREATS seems to prioritize the interests of the restaurant (their client) over those of the customer (the purchaser). I have constructive recommendations for improving this dynamic to ensure mutual satisfaction, yet UBEREATS must avoid unjustly retaining funds from canceled orders. By implementing positive changes, UBEREATS can enhance their reputation and financial stability. Strive to be a more ethically responsible organization, Dara Khosrowshahi. Best regards, X Customer
