Order number #47E93: I placed an order using the UberEats app around 4:30 PM and waited for nearly 2 hours for delivery. The delay was very inconvenient as I had important family matters to attend to and a flight to catch. Uber did not assign a driver until much later, which I believe reflects poorly on their customer service, especially considering the £3.50 delivery fee. Due to this delay, I couldn't eat before my flight, leaving my family without dinner for 12 hours during the travel. I understand the challenges but due to financial constraints, I kindly request a refund for the undelivered service. The app's delivery time kept extending, and after contacting McDonald's, I learned it was due to a lack of available Uber drivers. The lack of coordination between Uber and McDonald's created an unfortunate situation for my family. I appreciate your assistance in addressing this issue. Thank you.

I ordered food from McDonald's through the Uber Eats app. Unfortunately, the app didn't show a confirmation and kept loading until it disappeared. I couldn't find the order or receive any notifications. I re-entered the order, and this time it went through. When checking the receipt, I noticed both the new and the previous order that I thought didn't go through. Realizing this within three minutes, I promptly cancelled the duplicate order. No one picked it up, and it was a short time after the initial order went through. I request a refund because I was charged for the order that I didn't receive due to the app glitch. I value my business with Uber Eats and hope to have the charge reversed.

I ordered dinner for my family, which includes two toddlers, and waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive. I noticed the driver picked up my order, but it was later canceled. After reordering, I contacted the restaurant to verify everything was okay. The restaurant confirmed the driver picked up the food, but it never made it to me. The Uber Eats app indicated there was an issue with the driver. Following the restaurant's advice, I called Uber Eats support to reorder, hopeful for a quicker delivery. This was crucial as my 2.5-year-old was eagerly waiting for food and very hungry. I am requesting a refund for the reorder since I coordinated directly with the restaurant.

I placed an order at a local IHOP that had no delivery fee. However, when I tried to place the order, it wouldn't go through, possibly because the restaurant wasn't accepting orders. So, I placed an order at Checkers instead. While ordering, it mentioned that the delivery charge option had expired, and I chose to cancel the order. After retrying, I successfully placed the Checkers order. Later, Uber Eats showed up with the IHOP order that originally failed. It turned out there were two more Ubers delivering additional orders from Checkers, but I couldn't cancel them in time. Now, I have been charged for four orders, totaling around $60, even though I didn't confirm all of them.

On July 30, [redacted], I ordered dinner for my family through your app. Unfortunately, the food arrived cold and incorrect. I contacted support immediately but had to wait four hours for a reply. When they did respond, they asked if we had already consumed the food. Despite having two hungry children to feed, I had to go ahead and serve the incorrect meal. My experience with the customer service on chat and over the phone was very disappointing. The first supervisor I spoke with was rude, interrupting me and even cussing at me before abruptly hanging up. It is unfair that I was charged for a wrong and cold order and then treated poorly. I am extremely upset and demand resolution for both the order issue and the unacceptable treatment from your staff. If necessary, I will not hesitate to share my negative experience publicly. I am experiencing significant issues with my iPad as it seems to be falling apart due to an expanded battery. The screen and back are bulging, the volume function is inconsistent, and there are constant resetting problems leading to Japanese characters appearing. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Uber Eats today. I placed my order around 4:20 pm with a promised delivery time of 5:00 pm from McDonald’s Butterfly Walk, which is a short 5-15 minute drive from my house. However, it is now 6:20 pm, making me wait for over 2 hours for my food. Despite my efforts to contact Uber Eats customer service, the representatives appeared unconcerned. My main concern was my hungry daughter waiting for her meal while I was at work. Upon returning home, she still hadn't eaten. I noticed the delivery driver lingering around the Waterloo area for an extended period, not making any progress. This lack of efficiency and care is unacceptable. I will not be using Uber Eats in the future due to this incredibly bad experience, as they failed to express any meaningful apologies or offer compensation. Bogus

I am encountering issues with your drivers and I am unable to find a way to contact anyone for assistance as there is no phone number provided. The drivers seem to be parking in inconvenient locations, like my busy driveway, creating a safety hazard. I believe this behavior is unacceptable and I am concerned about the lack of accountability from Uber in managing this situation. I am planning to report this to fair trading authorities due to the irresponsible behavior of the drivers. I wish to send pictures and vehicle registration numbers as evidence. I have recently returned from a 3-month trip abroad and discovered that my Uber Eats account was charged for 2 deliveries in Australia, amounting to nearly $80. This situation is distressing as the funds were withdrawn from my travel card/account, leaving me without access to this money while I am still overseas. I am the sole user of this card and Uber Eats account, and I even deleted the app before traveling, assuming I wouldn't need it. Hello. I placed an order for Biryani on July 12th from Behrouz for Rs.[redacted], but I had to cancel the order due to an incorrect address input. Subsequently, I ordered an Aaloo parantha for Rs.80 just to verify the ordering process. When the delivery person arrived, they requested Rs.[redacted], which was incorrect as my order only amounted to Rs.80. After a conversation with an Uber representative, I paid the delivery person Rs.80. However, the remaining Rs.[redacted] has been showing as outstanding whenever I use Uber services. Yesterday, I ordered 2 chicken biryanis from Kritunga in Whitefield. After paying [redacted] rupees via my debit card, I realized the delivery location was further than expected. I messaged the delivery person to change the address, but they declined and marked the order as delivered. I had to reorder, causing a 40-minute delay. I still haven't heard from UBER. The delivery person's name is Sugga H. from Honda Dio. I hope this issue can be addressed promptly.

I purchased $53 worth of food from Burger King through Uber Eats, but the driver was sent to the wrong address despite me updating it in the app. After being informed that my order would be canceled and I would still be charged, the call abruptly ended. I refuse to pay for food I never received. I am requesting a refund from Uber Eats promptly. Thank you.

I recently ordered food from McDonald's through your app and utilized a $5 credit from a previous order that had an issue. Despite selecting to use the credit during checkout, it did not reflect in the final amount, and I was charged the full $14. Moreover, the coffee I received was not as expected as there was insufficient cream and sweetener despite my specific request for two sweeteners and some cream. Additionally, there was ice in my fruit order even though I asked for it without. These matters require attention and resolution.

I want to report an issue I experienced with Uber Eats on an international platform. As a loyal customer, I feel obligated to provide feedback. I had a disappointing experience where I was charged a 65 rupees fine for an unsatisfactory order from "Little Shed" that the delivery driver refused to collect. In addition, I was then asked to pay an extra [redacted] rupees for an 82 rupees order to cover the fine. This seems unjust and deceitful, totaling [redacted] rupees for the fine and the new order combined. It is disheartening to see a company of your stature engaging in such questionable practices for monetary gain. Moreover, your customer service response claiming to address the issue on the app without providing a resolution is disappointing.

Hello, I would like to share my recent experience with a food order I placed through UBER EATS from MCDONALD'S on August 4th at 12:28 AM. The order was prepaid, with an initial estimated delivery time of 1:30 AM. However, by 1:08 AM, I could not find any delivery partner details. Subsequently, the estimated delivery time was pushed back to 1:45 AM and then to 2:00 AM before the order was ultimately cancelled at 2:00 AM. Despite the deduction from my account, I was informed by a customer service representative that the refund would only be processed by August 13th. I have contacted support and have additional evidence to support my claim, which unfortunately I cannot attach here due to file size limitations. I placed an order at Chai Point in Indiranagar, but the app informed me that it was cancelled. When I tried to order from the same location again, it was unavailable. I then ordered from Chai Point on Old Airport Road, which got confirmed and was being prepared. While waiting for this order, a delivery person called, claiming my cancelled order from Indiranagar was outside. I contacted customer support, but they said I had to accept the duplicate order as I had already ordered twice from the same location with no chance of a refund. However, the Uber Eats app clearly indicated the initial order was cancelled and the restaurant was unavailable. How am I expected to reorder from the same place if I was told it was cancelled? I am requesting a full refund for the cancelled order at Chai Point in Indiranagar, as the mistake was not mine but an issue with the app.

I ordered mini chicken biryani from 4M Biryani House, Musheerabad on August 3rd, Saturday at 10:00 PM. The delivery person messaged me when the order was picked up but eventually said they couldn't deliver due to rain and canceled it midway. I asked why they accepted the order knowing it was raining. The response was rude, suggesting I order from a nearby restaurant instead. I requested a refund, paid by card, but the reply was impolite, canceling the order and using inappropriate language. I'm still waiting for the refund after the order was canceled without receiving the money back.

I am writing on behalf of our local residents and businesses to address a concern regarding your drivers. In Wilnecote, Tamworth, near our parish hall, the drivers have been trespassing on a private road instead of using the McDonald's car park, resulting in a nuisance for our village community. The excessive littering, use of foul language, and speaking loudly in their native language is unacceptable. This behavior is making our elderly residents near the parish hall feel unsafe, impacting business for the village hall and other local businesses. As a member of the village council, I kindly request that you address this issue promptly before we are forced to involve the local authority. Thank you.

After waiting for 20 minutes for my order, which was completely wrong, it was refunded, which was great. I rely on Uber Eats frequently and called customer service to place the order I intended to get. However, I was informed almost an hour later that I would need to pay for it in full. This level of customer service is disappointing, whether for a new or regular customer like myself. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with different representatives, all providing the same unhelpful response, I was simply instructed to reorder and pay for it. This situation is unacceptable. If you were dining at my establishment, I would treat you differently. I recently placed an order by mistake and tried to cancel it but was unable to do so through the app. Despite contacting the service desk, they were slow to respond, so I reached out to the restaurant directly. The restaurant was willing to cancel the order, but UberEats support informed me I would still be charged. It has been challenging to get a resolution from customer service as they seem unresponsive. This situation feels like a ploy to make money off customers. I have been trying to resolve this for a week now and request the unnecessary charges be removed promptly.
