Order number ***E** *I placed an order through the UberEats app at around half past * and waited for almost * hours for it to be delivered. This was very inconvenient as I had important family issues to adhere to and had flights to catch by a certain time. Uber did not find a driver until a few hours later and I think this demonstrates very bad customer service, especially after paying a £*.** delivery fee. I would like to request a refund for this as I was unable to eat the food before going away on holiday therefore the children went without dinner for ** hours during a flight. Im sorry to have to complain but due to poor financial circumstances I would appreciate a refund for the service I did not receive. The delivery time stated on the app kept getting later and after phoning McDonalds I found that this was due to no Uber drivers being available to collect the order. Lack of communication between partners Uber and McDonalds resulted in a bad situation for a family of *. I hope you will be able to help resolve this issue. Many thanks.
