On the 5th of June, last Wednesday, we placed an order on Ubereats from Dehat Hotel in Lake Town, Kolkata. Unfortunately, we received a message stating that the delivery person couldn't locate us, resulting in the cancellation of our order. We were eagerly waiting at home for the food, especially since we had guests over. When we attempted to reorder, the payment amount indicated that we had an outstanding balance from the previous order, which deterred us from proceeding with the new order. We respectfully request your assistance in rectifying this issue, as we did not receive the food likely due to the delivery person's inability to find us. Our address is Avani Oxford, Block 5, Flat number 7H, Phase 1, [redacted] Jessore Road, Kolkata 55. We are valued regular customers in the area. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Our delivery driver seems to be taking a detour on the other side of town, and our meal has been waiting for pickup for 40 minutes. I am concerned it will arrive cold and soggy. I contacted customer service for assistance, but unfortunately, they were not able to resolve the problem. I usually recommend Uber Eats as my preferred, trustworthy delivery service, but after this incident, my confidence has been shaken.

I ordered biryani and received confirmation, eagerly awaiting delivery. Unfortunately, a call came in, but upon answering, it disconnected immediately. After waiting for about 10 minutes by the phone, no further calls came through, and no delivery person was seen in our neighborhood. Surprisingly, a message stating, "Waited for 5 minutes...no refund," was sent. This situation is exasperating; after making an online payment, experiencing no delivery but also no refund is unacceptable. I kindly request a refund and inquire about the delivery person as there might have been a mix-up. I urge you to address this matter seriously to prevent its recurrence. I placed an order with McDonald's, and was informed that it would arrive in 27 minutes. Approximately 25 minutes later, I received a notification indicating that the driver was near, then shortly after, I received a receipt and a thank you from Uber Eats stating my food had been delivered. Despite waiting an additional 5 to 10 minutes, I did not receive my food. It has been almost an hour, and no one has arrived with my order, even though I have been waiting at home with the door open.

I frequently order food from Uber Eats and have never encountered any issues until today. Unfortunately, the latest driver mentioned they couldn't access my building's security gates, resulting in my food not being delivered. Without a car, I rely on Uber Eats for meals, so I am disappointed by this situation. The driver suggested I seek a refund as a resolution. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Hello, I placed an order for 3 biryanis from Aroma's Hyderabad House in Phase 1, Hinjewadi, Pune on 09/06/[redacted] around 9:35 PM. The order confirmation was received, indicating that the food was being prepared. However, by 11:30 PM, I had not received any updates or the food, with no option available to cancel the order. This delay disrupted my dinner plans by almost 3 hours on a Sunday night. Finally, after 11:30 PM, I was notified that the order was canceled due to a lack of delivery personnel. The total charge for the order was approximately [redacted] INR, paid in advance in cash. I request a prompt refund of my payment.

I am once again disappointed that my order is incomplete. This ongoing issue has left me frustrated. I would have been a satisfied customer if I could have contacted you directly or at least had a phone number available for assistance. Now, I have to wait for a refund due to the disorganization with Uber Eats. It seems like Uber doesn't care about their customers. I am requesting a full refund for the missing items and the delivery fees, as the driver took longer than expected at different locations before delivering my order.

I placed an order at Buffalo Spot in Lakewood, CA. I have been waiting for my food for approximately 30 minutes, but it seems like the delivery is not progressing as expected. When I checked the app to track the driver, the GPS suddenly disappeared, usually indicating that the order has been delivered. However, I have not received anything, and the delivery location given is nowhere near me. The driver was supposedly in a Dodge Challenger according to the app. I kindly request either a refund or a resolution to this issue.

I was disappointed with the quality of the pizza and salad I received from Rosa's Pizza. Similarly, the Blanche steak dinners I ordered from Yummy Japanese restaurant were unsatisfactory as the steak was cut into tiny pieces with very little meat. Both my Mom and I were disappointed. I am frustrated and disheartened by the experience with Uber Eats. Despite having a felony on my background check, which is non-violent, I was initially allowed to start delivering food. Now, I am being informed that I need a license for over a year, which was not mentioned before. I am 25 years old, unemployed due to my past record, and facing the risk of losing my apartment. I was relying on Uber Eats to earn money and support myself, but now I am unable to work due to this sudden requirement. I signed up with Uber Eats nearly two weeks ago expecting a quick onboarding process, only to face these new obstacles. I have made significant positive changes in my life over the past two years and just want the opportunity to work and provide good service to customers. I am feeling helpless and would appreciate assistance to resolve this situation so I can start working for Uber Eats as soon as possible.

I entered the wrong delivery address by mistake. I searched for how to update it but couldn't change it before the pickup. According to the instructions, the address change could only be made after the pickup. I informed the courier multiple times via text and calls about the correct address. Despite this, the courier arrived at the wrong location, and I received a cancellation notification without a refund. I am frustrated as I followed the app's protocol to rectify the error, but it still didn't work out. This situation has resulted in a $20 loss, and I am seeking a refund for this issue.

I spent $45.19 on food, canceled the order before it was made, and have not received a refund yet. I have screenshot proof showing the money was on hold. I contacted customer service ten minutes after canceling, and was informed it would take 3-5 business days for the refund. However, today is June 9th and the money is still on hold. Losing $50 is significant, and I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

Hello, this is my sixth attempt to seek assistance. Today, my family and I ordered for the first time from El Flamboyan. Unfortunately, the food we received did not meet our expectations. One dish was undercooked and cold, while another had burnt ribs, and the third was missing half of its lo mein. Pictures have been sent via the app, and we also contacted the restaurant for a refund as we had to order pizza instead. I have tried messaging for support, but have been advised to call instead. I am looking for a refund due to the poor quality of the food. Thank you.

I placed an order for cheesecake today with my registered phone number ending in [redacted]. I provided the delivery address as 232A, Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Hudkeshwar Road, Nagpur. After receiving confirmation, the delivery boy called to inform me that there was a mix-up with the address, which he claimed was used by me previously. Unfortunately, he was unable to deliver to the specified address and subsequently canceled the order. The app now indicates that I will not receive a refund for this. If you could provide an email address or WhatsApp number, I can share screenshots of the order history. I have invested a significant amount of time into this matter and now find myself without my order or a refund. If the refund is not processed, I am considering sharing this experience on social media platforms regarding Uber Eats and the partnered shop.

I recently placed an order for tandoori chicken at New Kebab Express, paying 285rs via credit card. However, when checking my order history, I couldn't find any record of the order being placed. After speaking with the manager, I learned that several others had reported similar issues where payment went through, but the orders were not showing up. The vendor suggested contacting customer care to file a complaint, but I couldn't reach them. I was told to wait for the refund to reflect on my credit card statement, but even after a few days, the money had not been credited back. Uncertain about which order ID to reference for the complaint since no order was visible, I am at a loss for what to do next.

Hello, my name is Briana Gilbert. I am reaching out concerning a payment made on May 30, [redacted], at 7:49 p.m. via The Ubereats app. Although I canceled my order at Bluff City Crab, [redacted] Malco Way, Suite [redacted], Memphis, TN [redacted], I have yet to receive my refund. It has been almost three weeks since I was supposed to be refunded, and despite contacting Ubereats multiple times over the past two weeks, I have not received my money back. Each time I inquire, I receive conflicting information about when the refund will be processed. It's frustrating and I've had enough of this back-and-forth. I truly hope to have my money refunded promptly.

On June 20, [redacted], I placed an order with Romino's in Jaipur via the Uber Eats app. The delivery was prompt, but an issue arose when the delivery person, Rajendra Pathak, did not have sufficient change for a rupee [redacted] note. My mother provided the money, requesting him to deduct the bill amount and return the balance. However, the delivery person lacked the change and suggested keeping an additional rupee [redacted] until he could find proper change. Despite his promise to return promptly with the rest of the money, no one has shown up at my address to settle the balance. I placed an order from McDonald’s in Clayton Square Centre for delivery to Picture House Apartments. I received a call from the driver asking for directions to the building. Despite providing clear instructions, the driver rudely asked me to meet him outside on the dual carriageway. I explained I couldn't go outside without shoes, to which he responded inappropriately. I then handed the phone to my partner. The driver took another 8 minutes to arrive at the door, complaining about us not going to the car. He finally delivered the cold, crumpled food, made a disrespectful comment, refused to provide his name, and left. The entire experience was upsetting as a customer.

I recently ordered food that arrived cold and stuck to the paper packaging. After waiting nearly an hour for the delivery, I had to go elsewhere for breakfast. My complaint through the app has only received canned responses, and it doesn’t seem like any representative is taking my issue seriously. In a physical store, they would replace the food or refund the money. The lack of effective customer service, with interactions lasting over an hour, is unacceptable. I experienced a similar problem with another service, where it was quickly resolved. It's frustrating that my complaint about receiving inedible food remains unaddressed and I am still out of pocket.

I am currently attempting to update my payment details to complete an order. However, I continue to encounter an error stating my bank declined the transaction and advised me to contact them. Following up with my bank, they confirmed no transaction attempts were made by Uber Eats, and my card is active with no restrictions. Despite refreshing my phone as per Uber's guidance, the issue persists. Uber Customer Service suggested I email them and await a response in a few days, a delay I find frustrating. As I wanted to place an order promptly, this extensive process has led me to reconsider using Uber Eats in the future.
