I am furious with my uber eats experience today. I ordered lunch and the first notification I received was the driver called to contact me. As soon as I saw that notification- less than ** seconds!- I ran outside... I saw the driver, made eye contact and was waving.. the driver drove away and canceled the order without a refund. I am a very loyal and responsible customer. I am always waiting outside for the delivery. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars with this service. I do not complain if an order is incomplete or incorrect but this issue today is unacceptable. I called customer service twice, spending an hour on the phone and was told the same script and offered no resolution. It was stated that it was my fault and the driver used protocol. I asked both representatives to speak to a supervisor and there is no supervisor available to assist, which is also unacceptable. I understand the driver can only wait a limited amount of time, but today, the first notification received was after the driver had called and I responded in ** seconds, making contact with the driver as she pulled away. There was a mistake somewhere, which happens, but the follow up with customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced and I can not support that. **I am requesting a code or immediate refund to use to order my lunch. If this is not an option I will no longer use Uber, which is a huge disappointment and a disservice to loyal and responsible customers. **Order number: ***FA
